Well, Illinois got royally [expletive].

surely they will make those reviewable in the future, right?

But these types of reviews take time! That's far more important than getting a call right.

the ref got it wrong and right at the same time. Kadji clearly hit it off that illinois' players fingers.

I thought so too, but no one else seems to be saying that.

I didn't see a definitive angle on it, but it's possible.

live it looked like it was off kadji and the first couple replays looked like it was clearly off him, but the other angle was 100% conclusive

They had it, and they pissed it away. Clutch shot by Larkin, DJ did nothing offensively all night, Paul had to chuck one last contested fadeaway 3 for the memories.

I didn't see any angle that showed Illinois touched it last.

I don't know if the Illini played well or Miami may not be as good as everyone thinks, most of the CBS crew has big time hard-ons for them. Did not look impressive at all tonight, got bailed out by some one sided officiating and wide open misses by the Illini.

Miami is not that good

Although if you would have told me going in that Illinois was going to get outshot, doubled up on fouls, have more turnovers than Miami, and Paul/Richardson would go a combined 3-20 from 3, I'd have figured Illinois got absolutely blasted.

So, I mean, kudos to Tyler Griffey and Nnanna Egwu, the best two players on the floor for the Illini tonight.

Brandon Paul?

Paul did have 18 points on 20 shots, yes.

My wife, who knows less than nothing about college basketball, got 11 of the Sweet 16 correct (assuming Duke wins) while I got 9, and unlike me has her Final Four intact. I'm doing something wrong.

Well that's probably because Miami isn't all that great.
