Along with 2 top 50 wins, 2 losses outside the top 100 and 2 losses outside the top 200.

EDIT: And a weaker non conference schedule than Iowa, who is only not getting in because of their non conference schedule and inability to beat a top 25 team..

I feel nothing but anger and depression.

SWAC 1 seed Southern actually won the SWAC, so I'd bet they get "rewarded" with a game against a 1 seed instead of a play-in.

EDIT: #7 seed NC A&T won the MEAC, and they're definitely in the play-in game.

Northwestern State upset SFA for the Southland title. Could be slotted down some.

We'll switch them with Davidson for a start.

Hey at least Bobisnki keeps referencing KenPom and Sagarin. I'm putting them at about a 10% chance but given some of the criteria, the Big Ten's rep, the countless close losses and the bubble's performance this week, I'm holding out a slight amount of hope that they could be the surprise team this year.

I'm really rooting for this board's collective knowledge to be correct (as it has proven to be, moreso than the media cognoscenti). I have tickets to both Dayton and Indianapolis. Would, obviously, like the chance to see IU both places (assuming that IU can win two games to make it to Indianapolis, which is no sure thing).

IMO Louisville ought to be the overall 1 seed and go to Indy, but there's no chance of making that a consensus. Dayton is a lock, though.

Going to be interesting. Think winning the best conference outright should keep IU as a #1. But Kansas won their conference (albeit much weaker) and Miami may win theirs (with the best #2 team in it). Either way, I don't think IU keeps #1 in the midwest. Louisville has earned that. I'm thinking IU goes to #1 in the South if Miami loses and #1 East if they lose (Kansas #1 South).

So if Mississippi wins, they're in and Kentucky's out, and Iowa State would get slotted into the first round.

Yeah, I'm expecting Louisville in the Midwest, with IU probably in the East.

Here's my final stab at a bracket. I think I followed all the rules correctly. If Ole Miss beats Florida, as bukie said, Iowa State gets bumped to the play-in, and I'll rearrange if that happens with Ole Miss going in as, I assume a 12 or 11.

1 Gonzaga vs 16 Southern

8 NC State vs 9 Cincinnati

Salt Lake City

4 Kansas State vs 13 Valparaiso

5 Arizona vs 12 Belmont

6 VCU vs 11 Ole Miss

3 New Mexico vs 14 South Dakota State

Auburn Hills

7 Creighton vs 10 Oklahoma

2 Michigan St. vs 15 Florida Gulf Coast

EAST (Washington, DC)

UCLA and Mizzou played earlier this year, so need to swap one of them out for another 8/9.

Good catch. I fixed it with a few tweaks.

ETA: Hold on, I just created an A-10 rematch. Fixing.

ETA 2: Ok, I think I've got it now. I had to bump UCLA up to a 7 to get out of that situation (which is fine since they were the first 8 on the S-curve anyway).

I'm pretty confident we'll miss on Miami (they look likely to be a 2 at this point and might even leapfrog to a 1 - the committee chair on CBS earlier today said the 1 line wasn't decided), but what're you gonna do?
