i think we have our RG for the next 10 years.

If he's as athletic and strong as we all hope, he should move out of RG sooner or later

meh, I doubt it. I can't see him playing RT or they would have already put him there. The only other option would be LT, and I think that position is spoken for.

I wouldn't be surprised if he moves to RT one day. Maybe next year. Long has no experience at RT does he so you wouldn't want to put him there now.

he's a lefty, and from what I understand, lefties rarely play RT. plus, we're hoping Mills is the future there.

also, Trestman and Kromer believe in the importance of the interior, it was a huge focus this offseason.

I guess I'd just be happy if a first round lineman actually stayed on the team as a starter for more than a few years and could play.

barring injury, Long looks like he could be a mainstay on that line for years. I just hope Mills can protect on the edge.

We're getting good pressure without Melton or Peppers tonight. Wooton looks awesome and Mclellin has had his moments.

Long still in. Trying to get him some reps I guess. Can't get over how huge he looks.

No, just the right side. New OC (#60?) Webb at LT, Brown at LG

I think we saw more good than bad from the starters tonight. I love Long. Wish I'd heard Bostic's name at all tonight. Loved seeing Cutler talking to Trestman on the sideline.

Bostic wasn't very good. Got lost a couple times. Was out the last drive, when the Bears were in strict nickel.

Long was amazing. Mills was good.
