Sanchez is back baby. If it wasn't such a vital national priority to defeat the New England Patriots, the New York Jets Follys would be a tremendously entertaining program.

Richard Sherman won his appeal, avoiding a 4 game suspension. The Ryan Braun defense wins again.

Wow. How did they argue that?

Some of his piss spilled from the cup and the tech caught it with another cup. Obviously, when that happens, adderall floating around in the atmosphere can easily find its way into the cup.

The future is here for the Raiders.

Terrelle Pryor will start for Oakland Sunday

Excellent. He should have come in when Palmer got hurt anyway (and probably should have started over Palmer in the first place against KC).

They obviously liked the guy enough to spend a third round pick on him so might as well see what he can do. Leinart is a known quantity, Pryor isn't. If he's terrible, you move on. But if he's decent, then you know you have something.

Sadly, one game won't be enough to know what you have with him.

I think the bigger issue was the way the guy taking the sample handled reporting it. From what I've heard, he didn't report it at all, then denied it happened when first questioned before he finally fessed up to the actual story. Sherman still probably cheated, but I don't have a big problem with it being tossed because of the poor execution of testing protocol.

Can someone explain to me why the Texans are so bad right now? They basically got blown out by the Vikings and now are folding against the Colts

They...need to win for a bye?

What is wrong with them?

Colts and Bengals both win which means barring a major upset, Denver gets the 1 seed. If New England wins at home over Miami, they get the 2 seed. So in the AFC, we'll probably get:

No. 5 Indy at No. 4 Baltimore

No. 6 Cincy at No. 3 Houston

No. 1 Denver and No. 2 New England have byes.

In the NFC, the Bears win which eliminates both the Giants and the loser of Washington-Dallas.

So we know Atlanta is the 1 seed, the winner of Washington-Dallas is the 4 seed and either the Bears or Vikings as a 6 seed. Assuming the Niners win, we have two possibilities:

No. 5 Seattle at No. 4 Washington/Dallas

No. 6 Chicago at No. 3 San Francisco

No. 1 Atlanta and No. 2 Green Bay have byes

or

No. 5 Seattle at No. 4 Washington/Dallas

No. 6 Minnesota at No. 3 Green Bay

No. 1 Atlanta and No. 2 San Francisco have byes.

Raiders special teams obviously trying to get Pryor onto the field sooner.

Gary Kubiak?

I'll shoot a Peter North six-roper if the Rams somehow win in Seattle today, but I don't think there's any chance.

Nothing is wrong with them. They weren't really a great team to begin with.

So apparently if there's a pass interference on a play and then a pair of personal fouls on the same play after the play, everything is offsetting.

In the Raider game, there was a pass interference in the end zone which should have given the Raiders first and goal from the 2. But two players got into a fight and got personal fouls penalties (and were ejected). Rather than the Raiders getting first and goal, the penalties offset and the down is replayed. That makes no sense at all to me.

Shouldn't the personal fouls have offset and the pass interference stand? That seems to be the more logical way to do it.

Wait, Titans scored 4 TDs in 5 minutes without running a play on offense. WTF?

Darius Reynaud had 2 punt returns for TDs, Zach Brown had a pick six, and I don't remember what the other TD was. The Jags were laughably bad in that game (and the Titans weren't very good either).

That game was fun, but the outcome sucked since Tennessee is likely out of the top 10 now.

In 04, 05 and 07, the Raiders selected Robert Gallery, Fabian Washington JaMarcus Russell. The next pick in each of those drafts were Larry Fitzgerald, Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson.
