And I really, really hate to say that.

Then dont say say it. Bama doesnt dominate its own conference (which you dont consider a dominant conference). They have 5 conference loses in the last 3 years. What USC used to do to the pac ten in the mid 00s was dominating a conference.

Bama is in the middle of a great run but it's getting overblown.

I like how you left off 2008 and 2009. Yes, they have five conference losses in the last three years. They also have only five conference losses in the last five years, three of which came in one season (by 14, 3 and 1 points). USC's best stretch was four losses in five years (02-06).

Bama has won the sec twice under Saban in six years. They have obviously been the best team in that stretch but they haven't dominated their conference. Read dews post and assess what he said. If you think the sec is bama and then everybody else you haven't been paying attention. Don't overrate bcs championships. If Georgia completes a 10 yard pass in the sec title game they'd be reigning bcs champion right now.

Raisin, Ole Miss apparently didn't send an LOI to Christian Morris tonight, so he looks to be all yours. Good player.

Yeah, I read that just about a few seconds ago. Pretty excited - UCLA long has had a weak offensive line so I'm glad to see so many well regarded linemen coming in this year.

Bama's SEC record over the last five years is 35-5. The next best is Florida at 29-11. LSU was 28-12 while Georgia was 27-13. They've been in the most SEC title games (three, one more than Georgia and Florida) and they've won the most (two, one more than Florida, Auburn and LSU) over that span. And if we're comparing them to USC, only one of Bama's losses came to a team that finished that year with more than two losses (9-5 South Carolina in 2010). USC's losses were to teams that finished with 3, 6, 4 and 6 losses on the year.

#1 OT Tunsil to Ole Miss. So much shadiness coming out of Ole Miss these days.

Did a really rich booster die recently and leave a ton of money to the program? Or did an alumni recently take his company public or something and donate a [expletive] load of money?

Treadwell has enough legit reasons to favor Ole Miss above the other schools he was interested in to negate someone's default position of "uh well he was paid off".

If Ole Miss is somehow able to flip Laremy Tunsil, as some are suspecting they may do, then even my red and blue eyebrow will be raised.

yeah, let's give national championships the very small amount of weight they deserve.

It's harder to win the SEC than it is the National Championship. Just ask Alabama.

EJ Levenberry just reaffirmed his commitment to Florida State. Tennessee's running out of good players to bring in at this point. Really unimpressed with Butch right now.

you got Vonn Bell

Reports (from everybody) were wrong - Vonn just announced for Ohio State. Must be nice rooting for schools that are serious about winning football games.

Just enjoy the hell that kiffin has wrought.

ole miss definitely playing the $ec game now. Maybe they just needed a HC with the right moral fiber.

Is that two programs destroyed in 4 years for Kiffin? He's like Willingham.

If the NCAA isn't giving out death penalties anymore, it makes sense for a school like Ole Miss to just go for it. If they can avoid sanctions for 3 or 4 years, and have another stellar recruiting class or two, they could conceivably pull an Auburn and then just self-sanction themselves.

And of course Folston is the one to not send in his LOI as scheduled. Everyone says "it's all good" so he's probably flipping to Auburn. At least we've already got our 5* RB signed.

Mississippi U just added the #2 safety, #24 overall (per espn). hahahahaha

All these players must be looking at Freeze's long history of success as a HC and saying "sign me up for that!"

@Bryan_Holt Hugh Freeze is a badass recruiter for a guy who needed Sandra Bullock to help coach his high school team via cell phone.

I bet Ole Miss swoops in.

not that it matters that he is from 20 minutes away, grew up an Ole Miss fan and has been going to games for years...

Then he's seen their recent 2 and 3 win seasons up close.

Correct, and then seeing them make changes like this in a single season should have convinced him that Freeze is a damn good ball coach and has the program on the rise.
