wade hits belinelli the head, yells at ref.

Yeah, but this has got to be the end, refs or not.

They have nothing left. To be honest this is what I expected in Game 1. Thibs and the team deserve enormous credit for stretching it two gutty performances farther after the Nets series.

Agreed. It's a friggin' MASH unit. They all deserve credit for going further than could be expected.

...except Rose, who will now always be doubted.

It is the price he pays for cowardice

And who are you, the proud lord said,

that I must bow so low?

Only a cat of a different coat,

that's all the truth I know.

In a coat of gold or a coat of red,

a lion still has claws,

And mine are long and sharp, my lord,

as long and sharp as yours.

And so he spoke, and so he spoke,

that lord of Castamere,

But now the rains weep o'er his hall,

with no one there to hear.

Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,

and not a soul to hear.

Miami doesn't look overly impressive right now save for the one beating they dropped on the Bulls this series. Sure would have been nice to be at full strength as I think this could have gone 7 games.

The average margin of victory for the Heat is +16, and that includes the game they lost.

I'm not buying your advanced stats.

And they're facing a team loaded with legends such as Marco Belinelli, Nate Robinson, Nazr Muhammed, Daquean Cook, etc. Extremely impressive.

This is the Bulls' fan playoff thread, not the "everyone respect how great the Heat are" thread. We all know the Heat are great. I'm not sure why people ITT feel like it needs to be pointed out every 10 posts.

Because someone mentioned one post earlier that the Heat didn't look that good. It was an absurd statement, and was rightly corrected.

The Heat really haven't looked that impressive other than in game 2. I mean they actually lost a game to a team led by Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, and Nate Robinson. Wade has looked terrible, especially defensively. Bosh has has a nice couple of games, Cole has looked good coming off the bench, and LeBron has been LeBron but the rest of the team hasnt impressed me. And the +16 per game stat is enormously misleading due to the 40 point raping. The fact that the Bulls won 1 game and had a very legitimate shot to win another one is remarkable.

I'm unimpressed with the Heat. The series would be 2-2 if the Bulls had played with any poise in the 4th quarter of game 2.

Being unimpressed isn't saying they aren't good; they are. But they do not strike me as some unbeatable juggernaut. Quite frankly, if the Bulls had Deng and Hinrich playing, I'd rate them as able to make it a 7 game series. If Wade is going to play like a broken down old man, Indiana has a good shot at beating them.

The Heat are unbeatable in a 7 game series and the Pacers have no shot at beating them.

Wade looked half dead at times last year too. Even if he is actually dead, no one can beat them now that Westbrook is out.

The best teams in NBA history all had nights in the playoffs where they looked human, even our beloved 90's Bulls. Don't mistake "capable of taking nights off" or "rusty" with "beatable." They were down 2-1 to a bad Pacers team last year in the playoffs. The geriatric Celts took them to 7. These are the NBA playoffs where history repeats itself. The team with the best players attack the lane. Then they get calls. Then they play lockdown perimeter D in the 3rd and pull away. That's exactly the Jordan Bulls formula. Bulls fans are acting like they didn't hate the Knicks and Pacers for pulling the same dumb u disciplined physical bs the Bulls are pulling.

I know a bunch of you guys get off on the dumb physicality and saw that first game and got your hopes up, and some of you just hate LeBron, but this is pretty much going to script. Just put this tough year behind you & get ready to forgive Derrick. Cross your fingers for a game changing acquisition. Don't rage against the storm.
