Regular season games are dangerous too. Rose should just not play until the 2014 playoffs. Just to be safe.

I don't even see a point you are making here. He has all season to get into shape. He has 6 months of games to get ready for what really matters - the '14 NBA playoffs. No reason to risk playing with Team USA.

Do you really want him risking blowing out his knee prior to the 2014 playoffs? Dude could tank his entire career in some random regular season game against Toronto. The smart play would actually be to hold him out until the 2014 NBA Finals. He would be well-rested and healthy. No brainer imo.

And lose home court advantage and the 1 or 2 seed.

Who needs HCA with a healthy D-Rose? You simply get there. He comes back. Boom goes the dynamite. Championship! The plan is so simple even Carlos Boozer understands it.

WTF? You're mocking him for a point he's not even making. Your most recent post is appropriate mocking though.

Tom Thibodeau might solve basketball with a healthy Rose and Deng and Jimmy as a starting 2 btw

Yeah, I can't wait to see those three healthy and on the court at the same time against the Heat next year.

The Bulls never seem to be healthy at playoff time. I'll believe it when I see it.

Thibs needs a little Popovich in him for that to happen. It isn't a coincidence that the Bulls are injury probe. You don't have to treat a regular season game as if it's a playoff game. It's Thibs's glaring weakness. Edited by Wilson A2000

Injury probe? LOL

Anyway, you are a mess dude. You are the bad opinion machine.

You should try logically responding to people's points instead of just throwing more [expletive] at the wall any time someone proves you wrong.

Come on, guys, you can totally avoid Deng's illness with rest. And everyone knows that sitting someone cures plantar fasciitis. Would Rose have been injured if he was on the bench? I REST MY CASE.

So playing someone a fair amount of minutes helps a person get over plantar fasciitis?

You don't even understand what plantar fasciitis is.

A person can play multiple games with PF and have little to no pain and then can have it just inexplicable kick in sitting around on an off-day. You either can play on it or not; sitting doesn't help it or make it "better."

This has been explained a crap-ton of times since Noah hurt it, during about every Bulls game. How can anyone not know this at this point?

Are your chances greater or not that it flares up if you overuse someone?

Not really, no.

No. Either you can play or you can't and you sit until the pain goes away on its own. Playing through the pain isn't going to make the PF itself "worse."

Popovich has a team full of old players that need rest. The Bulls are a young team. The oldest guys on the team got plenty of rest. Hinrich sure didn't get overused this year. Boozer was sat plenty late in the games because of a lack of defense.

The two oldest guys on the team were Nazr and Rip. Are you contending that either of them suffered from overuse?

In retrospect, there wasn't really a point in making Deng lead the NBA in minutes (or close to it) when Butler was there the whole time. I also bet Thibs wouldn't have ridden Noah for 36 minutes a game when he's been a 30 minute player his whole career except that Nazr was historically bad for the first 3 quarters of the season.

No, they're not. I have PF. Some days it hurts when I've done very little to no running for the couple days prior. Some days I don't even notice it after having run 20-25 miles in the previous couple of days. It's a weird ass injury that's very unpredictable and the most you can do is try to prevent it from flaring up, sometimes successfully, sometimes not.

Not particularly original, however, as that joke was all over Twitter last night
