Ha...Kaplan does not know enough about baseball to be a color guy. He's basketball first.
Kaplan

OH [expletive] YOU MAN [expletive] YOU FOR PUTTING THIS THOUGHT OUT THERE

He's the first name that popped into my head as a way for me to begin to cope with it happening, as remote it can be. And you can't underestimate the ability for a guy like that to weasel his way in.

'It's Len and the Kap-Man welcoming you to a frigid April day here at beautiful Wrigley Field"

Hollandsworth would be the worst possible choice, and it's not even close

I don't really know who Dave Campbell is. I mean I can picture him but what relevance does he have to Chicago, any? Not that it's a requirement.

He used to do, and may still do, the color commentary on the MLB The Show video games. He also filled in for Bob earlier this year on one of Bob's trips to watch Michael. He's ok but I don't think he's a long-term fit.

He also did color on ESPN Radio Sunday Night baseball for years. He was on their lead team.
