I like Rivers, but I love seeing other QBs have INT-fests on national TV.

Yeah.

At this point I think he either needs to leave, or Norv needs to leave. It can't go on like this.

Of the QB's that seem to be the media punching bags(Romo, Cutler come to mind), why does Rivers get such a pass it seems?

Probably something to do with him playing on a torn ACL and sacrificing for the team the end of that season or some bull along those lines.

Probably because he plays for a lower profile team that plays in a lukewarm football market.

Ding ding ding. The Chargers are just so forgettable. Also, the Chicago news media just loves to pick apart its own, and the national media just follows that cue.

I hate Rivers.

I'm amused by him. I find his antics entertaining. Especially during losses.

This is my theory about Cutler, except you see the opposite side of it with Rivers.

Switch the two and Rivers would be hated while Cutler would get a pass.

Andy Reid and the Eagles fire their defensive coordinator.

Their defense isn't even that bad, right? The offense is horrible. The offensive gameplan where they want Vick to throw the ball on 70% of plays from the pocket is a joke. So the DC becomes scapegoat. They site lack of sacks.

The defense was bad this past week. They lost the game, not the offense, as much as I'd love to blame it on Vick.

if anything, they need to fire their OL coach: 4 sacks, 10 QB hits, 7 TFLs and just 12 yards on 20 carries on called rushing plays on Sunday

though, taking Asomugha off Calvin in the 4th to play zone was lunacy

I retract my "like" and replace it with "love."

I believe they lead the league in giveaways.

Rivers is more of the perception of Cutler than Cutler is.

Yep. He just yells at everybody the entire game. The old perception of Jay was that he was aloof and didn't care, then he argues with a coach, yells at a teammate and walks away from a potential argument and suddenly he's the crazy hothead. Rivers does nothing but yell at the refs, teammates, opposition, coaches all game long.

Then they should re-hire their defensive coordinator.
