[expletive] it, would be nice to lose and keep the choke hold on the #2 draft pick. Let's get the [expletive] sweep.

It's Cafardo, but:

The Cubs will likely make a push for Red Sox hitting coach Dave Magadan, bullpen coach Gary Tuck, and possibly even bench coach Tim Bogar. However, Bogar might prefer to stay in Boston

Would Pittsburgh officially be considered to be collapsing if they get swept at home by a team that had gone 3-19 on the road since the ASB coming into the series?

And somehow they're still only 1.5 out of the wild card.

They'll probably still finish over .500 since they have four games against the Cubs, three against the Astros, three against the Brewers and four against the Mets, but its hardly a sure thing at this point.

Haha, screw you Marmol.

Two days in a row you pop in for a quick jab at the Cubs and then leave only to miss that they actually won the game.

I think Bogar lives (or lived) in Normal... Might like to be back?

Looks like he went to Buffalo Grove HS, and EIU as well. I knew the EIU part, not the Buffalo Grove part

It's a Jake free weekend!

Which sucks, because the resident Pirates fan is infinitely more tolerable than about 86% of the Cubs fans here.

He was until he added that signature. And it's always good for football season to come around to remind us how inherently awful Pittsburgh fans are in general.

Yeah I don't mind Jake except for that signature.

So Jake's sig is a problem because it's too big?

If it's any reason other than that, people are being way too sensitive.

Jake's paid his dues. Let him have his fun.

Any good fan disappears and goes into a deep depression when their team sucks.

If that's the case, how did Jake exist until this season?
