Savannah State are 70.5 pt underdogs vs. FSU this weekend

Is it wrong to think that 2 straight games like this could significantly increase the chance of long term injury for these players?

I'd take Savannah State and the points, personally. I know they're a pretty bad FCS team, but it's really difficult to lose a game by 70 points. Three scores each quarter(2 of them TDs at least) without giving up more than 3-10 points is just difficult from a time standpoint. Plus I have my doubts that FSU's offense will be as surgical at scoring repeatedly as Gundy's machine at OSU.

hahahahahaha pathetic.

• In 1997, the Aggies finished first in the Big 12 South—though with the third best record in the entire conference. In the conference title game, they were blown out by Nebraska. They're still claiming that year as a conference championship.

• In 2010, there was a three-way tie in the Big 12 South, with Texas A&M coming in third by the tiebreaker of overall record. (There was also a tie in the North division, meaning that literally every team that finished above .500 can technically boast a conference championship that season.) The Aggies didn't even go to the conference title game, but still claim the conference title.

Texas and Oklahoma State boast conference championships they didn't actually win either... but they're a really strange bunch in Amarillo.

Can't wait to tell my kids I got to see Mizzou win 3 Big 12 titles and 1 National Championship.

It is riduclously stupid and every Aggie I know feels the same way. Not sure who made the asinine decision to include those "championships" but it needs to be reversed ASAP.

But no one cares about Texas Tech/State/A&M so we probably shouldn't post about this on a Big 10 message board.

And they added 2 national title years to their banner? They'll fit right in with the rest of the cheating sec.

Apparently the Big 12 Conference's official website recognizes 3 football championships for A&M, so I guess that's why the other 2 were added to the wall. Doesn't make sense to me, but that explains why they are on there.

Co-Championships and division titles are included above.

Nebraska doesn't have 9, texas doesn't have 7, OKSt doesn't have 2, OU doesn't have 8, Kansas doesn't have one, Mizzou doesn't have one. The chart that says postseason is correct.

Maybe we should have used an asterisk like the Longhorns.

Yes, that is the wall of champions in Texas' Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center, and yes, that is an asterisk next to the 2008 championship, since no, Texas did not participate in -- much less win -- the 2008 Big 12 Championship game.

Except Mack Brown made them take that down, no more 2008 or *. Which it states in the article you just posted.

You can make rings too! I know you just love those!

Um, that's not an A&M ring.

And we just found out about the added titles yesterday. Based on the responses I've seen from my fellow Aggies, I expect them to come down as well.

I think I'd just sit that bet out entirely. Oklahoma St. had a 35-0 lead after the first quarter and pulled several starters. The challenge for this week's opponent will be to match or better Oklahoma St.'s score last week. What else could that team look forward to in a game that the outcome is already basically pre-determined.

Tulane safety Devon Walker was injured on the last play of the first half during Saturday's game at Tulsa and left the field in an ambulance.

Walker did not appear to move as he was being treated. Fox sideline reporter Desmond Purnell said on the television broadcast of the game that Walker stopped breathing for a time but resumed after paramedics used CPR.
