By the way SEC, there is a strict no return policy in force.

That's... what I expect out of Texas State.

This may be the one game I want to win the most on the entire schedule. Beating UGA after South Carolina and Florida had less than inspiring debuts would firmly put Mizzou in the conversation for the East.

You know good and damn well that we do not refer to ourselves as "Aggie Nation". Some of the young players may be using that term now, but it's obvious that Texas A&M did not sanction that billboard. My guess is that it's probably a butthurt Baylor fan as payback for the billboard we put up in Waco when they were trying to block our exit. Or maybe one of your people upset over the "This is SEC Country" billboards all over the state, including in Austin.

[expletive] Notre Dame.

You've got a chance. Put up a lot of points and we have woefully unproven corners and Motta at SS is no Harrison Smith. If we don't get a pass rush, the QBs will have a chance to put up a lot of yards.

QBs plural is right. Hope insists on using a three, yes three, quarterback rotation. It's insane. The strengths of Purdue's team are the D-Line, CBs, and speed at the skill positions. I would be surprised if they tried more than 2-3 passes beyond 15 yards from the line of scrimmage. You'll see lots of running the ball and lots of screens and short throws. I don't think we win, but I like the odds getting 14.5 points.

Frankly, I expect ND to play it similar to how they played Navy with lots of running and not much reliance on Golson. I think the 3 QBs idea is stupid so I'm glad Hope is sticking to it. I don't think the QB is going to change what ND does on D which is rely on the D line, OLBs and Manti to make plays. If one of them has time to stand back and survey the field every down, it's going to be a shootout.

I imagine Texas fans spend about as much time thinking about Texas A&M as most other people do.

You'd be quite wrong, but I imagine shnsajax will claim they don't.

Now that you're in a different conference, is your fight song still about UT?

Nothing has changed. I'm sure their fight song that mentions A&M hasn't changed either. What's your point?

And for the record, we were perfectly willing to continue the rivalry. It is the horns being the spoiled brats refusing to play us anymore. There are plenty of rivlary games between teams in different conferences. Hell, Texas & OU were not in the same conference until the mid-90's yet they played a rivalry game every year.

A couple other things to watch for (if you care). Raheem Mostert led the FBS in kickoff return average last year as a true freshman. He's an explosive kick returner. Also, DT Kawann Short is our best player. Walter Football actually has him mocked to go to the Bears in the 1st round of next year's draft. He blocked a field goal and an extra point last week and usually gets double teamed.

if purdue, notre dame and tennessee could somehow play a threesome of a game, imagine all the scouting reports that no one gave a [expletive] about we would have.

Seriously what's the point of sitting in the College Football thread to post 'nobody gives a [expletive] about your team' after each post. Great gimmick you got going there.

literally no one cares.

I wasn't the one that originally posted about A&M on this thread so obviously someone cares.

it was more of a "look how these inferiority complex ridden hillbillies from the south spent the last nickel they made moonshining," post as opposed to "you know who is a relevant college football program? texas a&m. let's discuss."

If they're smart they'll throw and throw often. ND's freshman CB got burned numerous times by Navy WR's. Sticking to screens and runs plays right to ND's strengths.
