September 3-9? There's a poster specifically about one week of practice?

It's about the Back to Football promotion where you can win free tickets and stuff.

Is that..., is that the punter? And Gould? What the hell kind of poster is that?

Yeah, I was kinda flabbergasted by that too. Unusual to say the least.

Yeah, I'm excited to get back to football, but not so much the punts and FGs. Where's Forte?

Probably was still holding out whenever that photo day was.

Gould, I can see, maybe at the end of the picture. But guys like McClellin, Bush, Jennings, Wright, and even Paea should be on there over Podlesh.

Hahaha...the Bears piped in crowd noise at practice today.....for a home game. Guess the Soldier Field crowd needs to work on quieting down for the offense.

Pat Angerer officially ruled out, which makes a weak Colts defense even weaker.

Looks like Booker is the only Bear in danger of missing the game. Podlesh, Urlacher, and Conte all probable.

Absolutely they do. Awful.

Heh...Kelvin Hayden talking about the Hester Super Bowl opening kickoff.

Bears cornerback Kelvin Hayden, who was on the Colts' coverage team that night, recalled the moment.

"I remember in our (special teams) meetings in Miami, everyone stood up and said, 'Kick it to him,' '' Hayden said. "We felt like the AFC was dominant at that time. And we hear about this guy, and he's a rookie. ... Him taking it back, it was rough.''

"My mindset is to get four returns for scores every year,'' Hester said. "That's all I really shoot for. If I stay with that on a consistent basis, I should be good.''

I have no idea why this would be relevant. YEAH THE AFC IS BETTER!!! THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN SPECIAL TEAMS LIKE OURS BEFORE!!*

*except when they played the AFC teams 4 times during the year.

Not to mention the Colts special teams was very poor. They had almost cost them the game against New England when Hobbs had an 80 and a 46 yard return in the second half. I've heard before that the coaching staff let the players decide whether to kick it to Hester, and that was a ridiculous decision. Of course the players are going to say they can stop him even when they're terrible at it.

Lorenzo Booker is out and Armando Allen is in. Apparently Booker hasn't practiced all week due to a concussion.

The Bears also released LB Patrick Trahan.

Interesting. Must be a pretty bad concussion if Booker was IR'd/cut or whatever was done. Figured the move would be Quigley to waivers (Podlesh is probable) with Allen taking his spot. Releasing Trahan means Bears have a 52-man roster. Nate Collins gets a spot when he comes back from suspension for Week 2, but another spot opens when Quigley is released.

Sorry. He was IR'd.
