Looking forward to another Rosario start today.

So what is the story with Rhee and Beeler this year? I know a lot of folks around here had hopes for them coming into the season and I'd imagine most of those have been somewhat dashed. They both seem to have had their control deteriorate a bit. What are the hopes for them going forward? Bullpen candidates?

I think of Rhee as a bullpen guy going forward, but as others have pointed out, he came on really strong last year in the 2nd half. Beeler's K rate is so low, his stuff has to come into question, at some point.

Guy I know who works for the PCL league offices says Will Myers turned down their request to have him do the PCL HR derby, so next on the list may be Vitters. Just passing it along.

I believe he is pronouncing it right. I've been saying "Hi Mare" for awhile, but i'm pretty sure I read on here that it's the way the PBP guy is saying it.

They actually had game day yesterday.

color me confused at why matt cerda (.391 obp) was demoted from tennessee to daytona.

Very interesting. I'd had no idea his OBP was that high.

Appears it was just a swap with Greg Rohan. Rohan's playing 3rd for Tenn, Cerda for Daytona. Rohan was around .850 OPS for Daytona, and toonster's been lobbying for him for a while.

they've had gamedays a few times since baez debuted. maybe it's for good now?

Had it almost every day that I've checked since Baez.

I thought I remembered seeing it before yesterday as well but I wasn't positive. Well good it's a nice way to follow the game.

I know Twitter has really changed things, but I'm so glad to see updates mentioning our prospects doing well, instead of the damn score. Even recently, you'd hear us mention how the team's records were great and it was a sign of good things to come. With no mention that we were fielding teams of 24 year olds in A ball.

Baez hit by another pitch. Vitters popped out to 2B in his 1st AB.

This is starting to get impressive.
