I don't know what the hell any of that means.

After no hitters for the past few seasons, Dominos has given away a bunch of free pizzas. Now they're doing it again to celebrate the no hitters from this year, or something.

After putting up a 9 fWAR season, Mike Trout is now at 38.5 fWAR for his career.

Here's a short list of recognizable names in the OF that he passed in career value this year:

Harold Baines

Felipe Alou

Chili Davis

Dusty Baker

Willie Wilson

Roger Maris

Magglio Ordonez

Kirk Gibson

Juan Gonzalez

Tim Salmon

Ryan Braun

Dom DiMaggio

Jayson Werth

Jose Bautista

Bobby Bonilla

Ken Griffey Sr.

Shane Victorino

A lot of names on that list managed an MVP or two (or at least competed for them) and participated in quite a few All-Star games. Mike Trout is turned 24 just two months ago, and he's had a better career than any of them. He's poised to pass guys like Alfonso Soriano, Bernie Williams, Johnny Damon, and J.D. Drew by his 25th birthday.

It's pretty ridiculous to think about. He may have a legit HOF case by the time he's 27 or so if he keeps this up.

Just went to Clevenger's Fangraphs page and saw that A) after we traded him, he only had 15 PAs for Baltimore (although he played a lot more in the next two years), B) in five seasons, he's never had a positive fWAR

Are persistently below-replacement level catchers common in a way that persistently below-replacement players aren't at other positions?

This is absolutely nuts and kinda horrifying. Starting to sound like a House episode:

Hanson was moved to Piedmont so doctors could run a variety of tests to determine why his organs failed.

The source said Hanson's problems started early Sunday morning and Hanson was then rushed to a nearby hospital after he started having trouble breathing.

It's horribly tragic that he died so young, but odds are it's going to come out that drugs are involved. A 29-year-old suffering "catastrophic organ failure" due to natural causes is pretty damn rare.
