I'm pretty sure I've seen some type of proposal at Kauffman before.

I'm guessing that they're just talking about with the help of the scoreboard/PA announcer, etc. I don't see how they can really stop you from proposing.

I have seen multiple proposals at Kauffman that included Sluggerrr and the video board. Also, I have seen the package where you can buy the two tickets and everything. Info is inaccurate.

I make more in a day than what I paid for mine. If I have a daughter one day and some kid takes out a loan for a ring that costs more than his unpaid car I'm going to sit her down and tell her that this guy clearly doesn't make good life decisions.

One disclaimer: Guy is in college, about to graduate and will be soon receiving a hefty salary. Even at that point I'd want to talk to the guy to see how much he has thought it through.

Wtf...somehow Don Baylor had a pretty nasty ankle injury while catching a ceremonial first pitch from Vlad.

Fractured right femur. It's very concerning that the bone could break so easily.

holy [expletive], that's bone cancer, right

I didn't know this before hearing it this morning, but Baylor has been beaten some form of cancer that affects the bones in the past.

Here's a story on it, multiple myeloma.

2500 bucks to propose at a dodgers game, i didnt even spend that much on the [expletive] ring (dont tell anyone)

I'm probably on the low end of income for people on this board, granted, but $2500 is an absolutely stupid amount to spend on a ring.

(I spent just under $900, before anyone asks)

How long ago? My wife's $1200 ring 15 years ago would cost me $2500 today.

Former Cubs farmhand Jim Adduci played a role in the Rangers comeback win last night. Donnie Murphy also batted that inning and the announcers mentioned Geo Soto. It was Cubs rejects discussion hour in Arlington apparently.

They also have Neal Cotts and Robinson Chirinos on their 25man roster

Disastros

Jose Altuve is about to become perhaps the shortest cleanup hitter in the history of major league baseball. Bo Porter announced that the 5-foot-5 second baseman will bat fourth for the Astros this season against right-handed pitching.

The team lacks power hitters with enough plate discipline to warrant holding down that spot in the lineup. Altuve hit just 12 home runs over the past two seasons combined, but his .286 battting average during that span makes him a credible candidate on the weak-hitting Astros.

Wasn't Hack Wilson like 5'4? He was built like a truck too, I still can't imagine him playing CF. He just looks like he would be super slow.

According to B-R, he was 5'6". I had no idea. How does someone that small hit so many homers?

Hack Wilson looked like a mutant. How he was able to run fast enough to play CF is a mystery. He also had 67 triples which should be a testament to his speed.
