Barry Bonds turned 35 in 1999, Lance Berkman's first season. And Bonds had more bWAR from 1999 on than Berkman did his entire career.

Of course Bonds had a little help along the way.

I don't know how to break it to you, but Barry Bonds doesn't control lightning.

That's terrific. :clapping:

It's purely cosmetic, but I would be intrigued by a version of Wins Above (X) that set X at 90 wins instead of average or replacement level.

Pitcher Gifs is your home for Gifs of every pitcher in the major leagues. We wanted to provide baseball fans a way to turn pitchers from a stat-line to a visual comprehension, allowing viewers to witness each type of pitch thrown by every MLB pitcher in one convenient location.

We are still in Beta, but we currently have the expected starting rotation for all MLB teams completed.

As we approach opening day, we will be adding closers, supplemental starters, and full bullpens, in addition to providing daily fantasy baseball content.

During the season, we will be adding the Gifs from the first starts of all rookie debuts while updating all major league staffs.

Our goal is to create the most comprehensive MLB pitcher Gif database on the internet.

Example, Edwin Jackson:

The site is slow as all hell right now...probably cuz it was posted on reddit.

I'm all for the trolling, but someone explain to me the point of a baseball mock draft?

For the REALLY intense fantasy guys; basically the ones either super-obsessed and/or putting good money into them, so these are their practice runs. Hence why they get so pissed off.

Wonder when Ubaldo and Ervin Santana are going to sign, and what their contracts will be due to the draft pick stigma. I’d be all for us signing Ubaldo if his price comes down to the 3/39 or 4/48 range.

If he really did fix something last year and his 2nd half results just weren't luck/sample size I'd be fine going 4/60-5/75 on Ubaldo. He put up a 3fWAR in the 2nd half, with a 10.7 k/9, 2.17 FIP, 2.99 XFIP, and that was with a .311 BABIP.

Is he really saying this about a league with Loria in it?

There are some not-great baseball team owners, but the worst of them is a thousand times better than browns jimmy haslam

To be fair, I don't even pay attention to football and I know that the Browns and their management are disgrace.

Somebody recently linked to an article that showed he wasn't very good when he wasn't facing the dregs of the league, which is who he pitched against in like 10 of his last 12 starts when his numbers got really good.
