I'm fully in favor of opposing players vomiting all over the Cardinals field. :good:

That should be his calling card. Every time he earns a save, he pukes all over your field just to rub it in.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!?! The Pirates are in first place????? I thought they sucked this year again (I know they were in first for a while last year). Shows how much I've been paying attention to the regular season

their offense was spectacularly bad for the first month and a half or whatever - it's still been pretty damn bad, although mccutcheon is awesome. they've been winning a lot of close games. half their pitchers are heavily outpitching their peripherals. their xFIP is like 3/4 of a run higher than their ERA. by pyth, they should be 8 games behind the cards; instead they're 2 games ahead. basically it's a lot of smoke and mirrors and unlikely that they'll stay in first, but i suppose crazier things have happened.

So it's pretty much like when they were in first last year? I'm pulling for them though, then the Nationals and Orioles are all teams I'm hoping can make the playoffs this year. With the Cubs out of it I find it easy to pull for underdog teams in baseball.

Rich Hill came back strong from last year’s Tommy John elbow surgery, reclaiming a spot in the Red Sox’s bullpen and throwing 14 innings with a 2.63 ERA, but now the left-hander will miss at least a month with a strained flexor muscle in that same elbow.

Anyone know if there is a specific date or anything that the Sox have to call up Prior by or else he can decide to opt out or something?

Hit Tracker hasn't updated yet, I'm very curious to see the true distance on that home run

438 ft

i'm partial to this HR; "he just took one of the best relievers in the league the other way- who does that? "

I could watch him swing bats all day. Anyone in the majors have better bat speed than that right now?

I keep watching that highlight, and I just can't believe how long he waits on the ball before pulling the trigger. Reminds me of PED-peaked Bonds.

I'm always kind of surprised when I see Harper on tv, because he looks much smaller than I figured he would be. He doesn't look 6'3, 225 to me.

I'll believe it when I see it. How reliable is this guy?

Hearing rumors slowly making their way around Twitter that it has something to do with Soler.

Something with Soler would make sense, Badler handles a lot BA's prospect/scouting stuff. His twitter says he writes for BA covering prospects, scouting and player development. I'm not going to be productive this afternoon now until I hear what it is
