So many empty seats.

It is a Wednesday afternoon in April.

And not a particularly warm one.

Cubs sporting a .622 OPS through nearly 6 games....still somehow good for 20th in the league and better than Cincinnati, Philly, San Diego, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh.

Did anyone catch the official attendance? Last year, Wednesday day games in April drew 32k and 36k

Last year, the average meathead was still optimistic in April.

So, right after I posted that the Cubs' offense needs to be more patient and draw walks, Castro and Soriano drew walks...

So, really, what the Cubs' offense is lacking is a little power...

Yeah, it was announced at 34. Doesn't really correlate with the number of people actually attending the game though.

So we're still at about the same pace. That's good, I'm really curious to see if it lasts.

It's one thing to convince fans to be patient. It's another to convince us to pay some of the highest ticket prices in baseball to watch the current incarnation for a full season.

The Cubs .226 team batting average is good for 9th in the NL.

Yeah, there are seven teams in baseball hitting under .200 so far this year. Teams.
