ND thumping Kentucky. Guess you don't get an Anthony Davis every year Cal. IU would've kicked their ass this year.

I wish ND could play IU this year instead of last. Irish would probably get creamed but it would be interesting to see how they'd measure up.

Haha, not at all, just would love the test of IU. The Purdue game should be a fun one.

I hope so, I'm thinking ND will be a good measuring stick for Purdue. Xavier this weekend too. If we can win both maybe we make the tourney this year.

Pomeroy gives Purdue a 44% chance to beat ND. I think that's high.

I was happy IU got Butler instead of ND this year. But now I'm really worried about the Butler game. In their backyard and they'll make sure IU pays for coming out sloppy if they do like they did vs Georgia.

I wonder if he'll have trouble finding somewhere to transfer. Granted, he hasn't been found guilty of anything, but that's a lot of baggage.

He'd have to sit out a year and only have one semester left to play, too. He'd probably almost be better off just trying to get his overseas career started right away.

Dixon can transfer immediately to any school able to take him and would not be forced to sit a year under current NCAA rules.

Weird, I will never quite understand NCAA rules. I guess the same applies though, I wonder who's willing to take him on for the rest of this season only at this point.

Purdue has a scholarship open, a need at guard, and apparently Dixon and Painter have a relationship from when Painter recruited him. Purdue is extremly conservative though so I doubt it happens - and I don't really think I would want it to happen. These situations are so tough though because do you condemn a kid for life for accusations? Reading the articles it sure seems like he did it, but yeah, passing judgment on a kid after reading a couple articles... idk... I don't know anything about him as a person.

you don't know anything about a lot of people who are in jail, either. would you set them loose on the purdue campus?

Haha, no, but they were convicted. I'm not defending the kid or saying he didn't do it. Like I said it won't happen anyway.

I really liked Mike Dixon, but there was no way they could continue on. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after the August incident came about; two allegations is too much, though. There's definitely something not right about him.

On the court, Missouri is perilously thin in the back court.

I cannot even begin to describe how much I wish IU played UK this year (especially early in the season). First, IU's non-conference schedule is too weak and playing UK would obviously help. Second, the potential for going to Rupp and winning would be . . . fun. Over the past twenty years, IU has very, very rarely had a better team than UK -- and, for the most part, the teams weren't even close (even the 2002 finalist team lost by double digits to UK). Of all the years not to play -- I might have picked, say, 1996-97 (99-65) or 2003-04 (80-41) -- why did it have to be this year . . .?

I hope nobody wasted two hours watching the Georgetown-Tennessee game today.

McAdoo is going to be an NBA all star. Love his game very old school like his dad.

I'm not sure if anyone ever got to this, but just an FYI for those who may not know...James McAdoo is NOT Bob's son. Bob McAdoo is James McAdoo's dad's second cousin. So, his third cousin??

Oh great, one of the refs that screwed Purdue in NYC is doing our game against Xavier today. The Paint Crew will probably get T'd up.

You shouldn't have too much trouble with X, they aren't very good this year. Not sure how they beat Butler.

Purdue is going to have to hit their free throws. They've done that the last two games but have been awful at it in their losses.
