Was that IU's best offensive first half of the year? Wow.

No, but the best over anybody anywhere near the caliber of Kentucky. They scored 54 in the first half against Iowa, 52 against Howard, and 51 against Evansville.

You guys are going to miss Watford a ton next year if he really leaves.

I still think that Butler shot in the National Title game would have been one of the top 20 most memorable sports moments ever if it had gone in.

Top 5, IMO ... I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a more memorable moment if that had gone in.

Jordans shot against Russell, ruths called shot, Buckner ball, fluties hail mary, that's all I got.

Duh Laettners shot.

Laettner would be behind Hayward. Laettner only got Duke to the Final Four. Hayward would have won a national freaking championship. And those other moments ... famous as they are, did not win championships or were at the last possible moment. With Hayward, we're talking the absolute biggest game, at the absolute last possible moment in a win/lose scenario.

I guess NC State over Houston would be up there too.

I would take Hayward's over all of those because it would have won the National Title and because he missed, they lost. While Jordan's won the game and the title, it was Game 6 so even if he missed, the Bulls could still win Game 7. Ruth's called shot was in Game 3 of a sweep. Buckner's was Game 6. Flutie's hail mary was a regular season game. Laettner's was an Elite 8 game.

Mazeroski's HR in Game 7 to win the World Series is up there also, though that game was tied when he hit it.

Is Mazeroski in the hall of fame if he doesn't hit that homer? I doubt it. That home run gave an individual a lot of accolades compared to individual moments.

Kidd-Gilchrist is the next Pippen

I don't know about Pippen until he proves himself in the league, but damn he's good.

Oh well. To beat the better team, Indiana was going to have to either get really hot from the 3 point line or have Kentucky make a decent amount of mistakes. Neither happened tonight. It was a good effort hanging in there when Kentucky played so efficiently. Only bad thing from tonight is that Watford played so well, which might help him to try to leave. Regardless of who leaves though, it should be a fun season next year. Looking forward to it.

If you woulda told me IU would score 90 points tonight, I would think a 15 point win. They scored almost 1/2 their points from the line. Didn't miss [expletive]. Good game. We came to play. UK did a great job exploiting matchups vs. non-Zeller white guys for IU. Oladipo in foul trouble really hurt. Guess we'll go get em next year. CWAT PLEASE STAY! Legit National Championship contender if he does.

They'll let him keep up the traveling in the NBA, so he has that going for him. But seriously, I don't think he's close to the passer Pippen was. I think he's a better rebounder right now than young Pippen. If he can continue to develop his jump shot and create for his teammates, he's well on his way.

I think they're a possible contender even if he leaves, but it would take a couple of the elite freshman taking on major roles and/or Oladipo developing a jump shot. The biggest issue with Watford leaving isn't his offense (which is great when it's on like tonight, but very inconsistent) but the fact that they've been hiding Hulls by having Watford guard point guards the last half of the season.
