Amini Silatolu, OG, Midwestern State

The decision here is actually pretty easy for me. The Titans' run game was pretty mediocre last year despite having one of the best tailbacks in the league on the team. A large part of the struggles was the inability of the offensive line to block for the run. So, the Titans choose to upgrade that here by taking a fairly large (6'4, 311), very raw, but huge upside lineman in Amini Silatolu from Midwestern State.

Silatolu is a guy who strikes me as somewhat similar to Michael Roos, another big, raw, huge upside offensive lineman from a small school who has become one of the better left tackles in the game. He'll need to move inside to guard, which is fine, and my hope would be that he would develop quickly enough to take either Leroy Harris or Eugene Amano's job by midseason. The only thing that would make this an easier decision is if he could play center.

davell and the Bengals are now on the clock. I'll PM him.

Next 3 picks:

54. Lions (sneakypower)

55. Falcons (Vanilla Ice)

56. Steelers (Theo)

Again, if anybody isn't sure they'll be available to make the pick, shoot me a PM with your top 4 choices.

Bengals have options here for sure. As much as I want to take Brandon Taylor here for them, I'm going to go ahead and send RB Doug Martin from Boise their way. Wilson and Miller were options too and I almost passed here on a RB, thinking one of those 3 may fall to me in the 3rd.

Steal. Borderline first rounder...Great picks for the Bears and Lions today, IMO. I considered for the Jets with the McClellin pick with Moore probably done after this year and Slauson a FA next year.

Interesting thought on him at C btw. It doesn't seem wild.

Wilson makes sense for the Bengals with Silatolu (they could use a G talent) off the board. Their OL is huge and would love blocking for a stud young RB, and Wilson is pretty good.

I really thought about Ben Jones there as he would fill the need for a true center, but felt like Jones would be a bit of a reach, while Silatolu was more of a value. If the Titans really take Silatolu, I'd be pretty excited to see what the Munchak/Matthews duo can do with him.

with no glaring needs, Lions opt to take a flier on the BPA, CB Josh Robinson, UCF

raw, but he has the athleticism to force his way into a starting role with some development

I chose Martin over Wilson for the Bengals. Like his pass catching ability and can at least see a possible Ray Rice type career for him. Wilson may have a bit more talent, but being in this general area, I've heard too much about his attitude problems. I think Martin has the better career.

I'll guess you're trying to decide between Wilson and Miller. You gotta get Peyton a weapon or two and there's not a WR or TE with value at this spot.

Denver coming up soon with 2 guys I'm undecided on.

Who are they?

That's for me to know and you to find out.

Thought you were soliciting help. I'm guessing it's between the RBs as well.

I like Orson Charles more than most on here, it seems. I think he'd be a good value here.

I like Charles too. He's one of the few TEs in this draft class to actually play on the LOS, run block at the POA, and actually has the ability to make plays down the field. A lot of the other TEs lined up more in the slot, didn't run block much, or are just blockers and short yardage options in the pass game.

Denver is going to go with the "you can't fix all your holes at once so might as well make one spot really good" theory and select Kendell Reyes. I had him, a CB selected earlier and another player on my list here. Maybe they will be more likely to go the give Peyton weapons route, but I like making the defensive line a potential force as of now. Peyton can work with what he has for now.

Shefter thinks Nick Perry could drop out of the 1st round. On the other hand, Chandler Jones seems to be taking his place as a 1st rounder.

He's crazy, but I would love for the Jets to draft Barron and then manuever around for Perry. He and Ingram are the workout warriors amongst the first round pass rushing candidates. I have them 1-2 as DE/OLB prospects.
