I didn't mean to pick for Andy, by the way. Not sure if he had PM'd that same selection or not, but Curry was just my vote.

I haven't heard from Andy and he's not checked the PM I sent him yesterday, so since both of us agree Curry's a good pick we'll go with that.

I'm not enamored with anyone at a need position right now, so I'll take this big monster I think has a chance to be a difference maker at a key position

Alameda Ta’amu, DT, Washington

Next 3 picks:

44. Chiefs (Tiger)

45. Cowboys (vance, imb)

46. Eagles (Truffle)

Again, if anybody isn't sure they'll be available to make the pick, shoot me a PM with your top 4 choices.

The Cowboys picks come down to Zietler, OG or Harrison Smith, S. Guard is a more important position, but I personally think Smith has a higher grade. I have Smith with a first round grade, and have Zietler with a second round grade.

The war room believed the pick should be Zietler, but I'm going to pull a Jerry Jones and go the other way.

With their second round pick, the Cowboys select Harrison Smith, safety, Notre Dame.

Jets select WR Stephen Hill Georgia Tech.

Plenty of choices left but Hill was just too much of a coup here. This probably means that I missed someone taking him already, but pretty sure this is straight. Really glad the pick was made for me by the board because really didn't feel like taking an OL right now considering that's where the Jets spent their coaching money this offseason with the two Italians.

Thing about Hill is that he's raw enough to not usurp Holmes as the #1 (not that I think anyone in this draft would), but his size and speed compliment Holmes perfectly. Adds a much needed deep threat, gives Sanchez a family friendly new target, and all in all m first two picks for this team represent a dream scenario.

YOu did. Houston at #26.

I'd stick to the D. Maybe another D Lineman or DB, especially S, since you already got a CB. Kendall Reyes or Brandon Taylor make sense to me. They could also take advantage of pure value at RB too though.

G'dammit.

...Jets select DE/LB Shea McClellin Boise. Not a bad second option. Seriously considered Zac Brown, but like McClellin's size and pass rush a little more.

This is getting silly - the previous 3 picks have all been guys I was targeting for the Titans. Luckily my top couple haven't gone off the board yet.....

I could definitely see Belichick going value here and taking either David Wilson or Lamar Miller. I could also see them going with either guy you mentioned, or even a George Iloka or Markelle Martin. A lot of possibilities.

Yeah that's where I'm getting stuck. Too many possibilities because they'll draft anyone at any position (probably not TE now although it wouldn't shock me if they did). I'm waiting for a buddy of mine to let me know who he would pick (he's a HUGE Pats fan) even though his usual answer is "just trade every pick for more picks till you got every first round pick 5 years from now".

Haha, yeah if we allowed trades I definitely think this is a perfect spot for the Pats to trade down to the third round (or just trade the pick altogether) and pile up a couple picks in next year's draft. Since we're not trading, though, I think I'd agree with davell and go with Reyes.

That's the draft...I was hoping for Vinny Curry.

There's a couple of OL that I know I'm going to miss out on that I think will be ten year starters, and then one giant OL gamble. Honestly felt like I was reaching just slightly for McClellin, but he's been a hot name since the Senior Bowl so I just made the pick. Almost went with Zac Brown tbh...Scott understudy who offers more coverage potential, and has the size to do the other duties as well. In fact, I kind of regret not going in that direction.

I don't think McClellin was a reach at all, he's getting mocked in the 1st by some guys now.

Yeah and he killed the offseason....Still think he's more of a third round talent, but pass rushers are at a premium and he has some potential there. Plus he's versatile and played ILB and OLB during the senior bowl.

It's not a bad pick by any means but really wanted Curry and the flub on Hill was deflating.
