Personally think he's two three rounds ahead of all of them...I like Iloka and Robinson some, particularly Iloka.

I think Barron and Smith are really close. I'm thinking Barron being on Alabama's defense is helping to overrate him a bit in the draft. He's clearly a first round talent, but I've seen him go as high as top 10 or right on the fringe of the top 10 in some mocks. Seems way too high to me.

My personal, complete 1st round mock is available on my blog...... :good:

I like Mercilus to the Titans much more than the recent trend of Glenn to the Titans. Still want Kirkpatrick/Jenkins/Gilmore in the first round, but a major pass rusher like Mercilus/Ingram/Brockers would be really nice as well.

With the way Jenkins is apparently dropping, though, I wonder if he might be available to the Titans in the 2nd round. A Mercilus/Jenkins tandem would be pretty much a dream scenario for me.

Janoris? Really? If you look up "Janoris" on Urban dictionary the definition says "Pacman Jones". You really want to make that mistake again?

Personally think Barron was the best player on Alabama's D...Called the shots in the secondary especially and was a huge part in the draft stock of guys like Kirkpatrick and Jackson IMO. Probably the most intelligent and experienced of the defensive draft prospects...I'm extremely high on this player. Think he's a Troy Polamalu level talent...

Smith was that for ND, but to the extent that ND took it....Plus he's kinda stiff.

I'll admit I may be getting blinded by talent, but Janoris hasn't been in any trouble since getting kicked out of Florida. That makes me think he's a little safer bet than Pacman was. Still, I'd defer to the Titans' judgement there. If they simply felt there was too much disciplinary risk with him, I wouldn't be upset.

My #1 choice for the 1st round pick is, and always has been, Dre Kirkpatrick, though. But if they could get a guy like Mercilus in round 1 and then still get a talent like Jenkins in the second, I'd consider that a good enough value to take the risk that he's legitimately cleaned up.

From what I've read, Barron's kinda stiff too. Wes Bunting is probably my favorite draft analyst (along with Mike Mayock) and his write-ups on Barron and Smith are strikingly similar - and they line up with what I saw throughout their careers, though admittedly my scouting eye is very amateurish.

I've read some teams have removed Jenkins completely from their draft board. It only takes one team for him to still be a first rounder, although presumably, most GMs will hear that talk and at least think about letting him drop and picking him up later.

That may be a bad sign that they're not buying his rehabilitation. Or it could just be concern over his past without real regard to whether he's fixed or not. If he falls enough, he has the potential to be a real steal.

While hes stayed out of trouble, the stuff I've read says he's nearly always high. Like cheech and chong. I guess thats enough to scare at least some teams away. On abilty theres many who say hes better than Claiborne, so a team with a strong veteran lockerrom will risk it.

That's a shame because he is fantastically talented. I could see Belichick grabbing him if/when he falls into the second round. And it'd be a great pick.
