go 49ers go ravens

How long can you take the brother vs brother story line though? That's the real question. Plus, if the Ravens win people will want to ask Ray Lewis questions about stuff. The less we hear from Ray Lewis the better.

i hardly (probably never) watch espn or other shows that will provide super bowl "analysis." i also dont listen to sports radio, so i'm not worried about getting it there. if they discuss it during the game i'll have beer, so it'll be ok.

man i really like the giants at +2.5

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down to +1.5 by game time. Think a lot of people will jump on the Giants with that line.

I don't know, the Ravens bore the hell out of me for some reason. Their QB is mediocre, their defense is aging, Ray Rice is cool though.

I like the idea of the Patriots making it. I'd love to have a team to root against in the SB, yet at the same time won't be devastated if they win unlike if the Packers were in it.

Why do so many want to see 49ers-Ravens? You really want a 17-13 game?

I know it would be one of those dreaded SB rematches, but Giants-Patriots would be the most exciting out of the four possible matchups.

I'm pulling for the 49ers as they are kind of the underdog this year. I really want to see OT though in the Super Bowl. I pretty much root for this every year.

Every team remaining has an interesting (and sure to be overblown) Indianapolis storyline:

49ers -- return of Jim Harbaugh

Giants -- Eli Manning potentially winning in his brother's city/stadium

Ravens -- Indianapolis stole the Colts from Baltimore! blah blah blah

Patriots -- QB/team rivarly. I don't even want to think about them celebrating a Super Bowl on the Colts' field.

Go not-Pats. That's really all I care about.

I think either the Giants or 49ers would be an entertaining match-up for the Patriots.

Also, Joe Flacco is the last person I want to see on Super Bowl Sunday.

I'm pulling for the 49ers because of nostalgia purposes. the patriots sucked when i was a kid, the ravens didn't exist and i hate the [expletive] giants

Yeah, but on the flipside there's bumstalgic reasons to root against them.

it's embarrassing how much i want them to lose for that reason

Damn that's crazy. Of that, I think the Colts/Baltimore think is the most interesting. Super Bowl week will be full of cheesy interviews with 60 year old guys remembering the pain they felt when the Colts left in their Mayflower semi and how meaningful it will be for their new franchise to win it on the Colts field.

Oh well it's not gonna happen.

weren't allowed on the bandwagon?

I'd take Giants +2.5 and Pats -7.5.

Let's see if what happens if the Niner's don't force TO's. Of course, Eli is always in danger of throwing picks and Bradshaw and Jacobs can fumble with the best of them. But I still like the Giants.

I'll take the Pats -7.5 because I the Pats can score on anyone, and the Ravens offense is atrocious for a team that's supposed to be a SB contender. And their D is not up to where it was in prior years.

I liked living in the Baltimore area, and I like their fanbase, but the Ravens are a pretty brutal team to watch. I'm rooting for either NFC team to beat the Patriots in the Superbowl. In overtime.

Ravens are pretty damn boring

The most boring of the bunch, without question. But I hate the Pats and Giants.

I'm conflicted. 49ers/Ravens would probably be pretty damn boring for a Super Bowl, but I'd like to not see either the Pats or Giants.
