Just bring in McKinney at LT for a tryout already

There might be a logistical problem with that considering he is under contract currently with the Baltimore Ravens.

Oh. Shoot.

Marcus McNeill still hasn't been signed, but he may be done at this point. Of course, people thought the same of Jared Gaither at one point last year. Then there's still Chad Clifton out there.

The Bears offense will have a run-first mentality, but Cutler now has weapons that should bring out the best in him.

I don't if it's the media or the actual bears coaches who continue to pretend like a "run-first" offense can still be at all relevant when it comes to the super bowl. is this purely nostalgia?

Bears had 473 passing attempts, vs 456 rushing attempts last year. Is that run-first?

9th in rushing attempts, 27th in passing attempts, so maybe? They played from ahead a good bit with Cutler and didn't exactly want to pass without him, but they certainly seem to profile more run-heavy than average.

He also said that right after saying the offense looked like Cutler would be back at the 4000 yard mark.

I guess you can have a "run-first" mentality and then just throw the ball all over.

Relative to other teams PA to RA ratio across the league, I'd say yes.

as long as we're running to wind down the clock with 20 point leads and keep the defense rested, i'll be fine with it.

Run the ball the first play of the game, then throw the remaining plays.

I think I'd slap somebody in the face if they told me they paid 20 bucks to watch preseason football via stream.

I gotta admit, I might do it if I lived out of town. 6-7 months is a long time.

I would think NFL Network has to replay most pre-season games during the week, just like they do regular season games. Sure it isn't live but I'd rather wait a few days and watch the game free than pay $20 to watch it.

Is the Bears game Thursday on DirecTV? I'll find an illegal feed if I have to, but I got DirecTV a week or so ago and would love to watch it live in HD if possible.

It looks like the replay is being shown late Thursday night and then Friday morning as well on NFL network. I have the DVR set for it. They are replaying a lot of preseason games on Friday.

I've got Time Warner. No NFL Network.

Bears Preseason TV affiliates

WFLD - Chicago, IL (Flagship)

KFXA - Cedar Rapids, IA

WCCU - Champaign, IL

WMBD - Peoria, IL

KLJB - Quad Cities IL/IA

KHQA - Quincy, IL

WIFR - Rockford, IL

WSBT - South Bend, IN

WRSP - Springfield, IL

Looks like southern IL is screwed.
