ROFL

I asked (Roy) Williams the same question as he seemed at least a little upbeat after catching a season-high six passes for 81 yards.

“No, no,” he said. “Can’t think like that because then you have to go all the way back to if your right tackle Calimari (Gabe Carimi) didn’t go down, or Chris Williams didn’t go down.

........

Yes, Williams referred to Carimi as an appetizer.

Yes, Williams referred to Carimi as an appetizer.

Could easily be a nickname.

Didn't get a chance to really comment much on the GB game, and really...not a lot to say. But a couple of thoughts:

- Granted, it was only one game against a team that's shown it's vulnerable to the rush, but how much leverage does Forte have when Bell and some guy I've never heard of run all over the Packers?

- If Martz is back next year, did McCown earn himself a job as backup? That probably depends on what he does against the Vikes.

Bears really need a loss here. They have the toughest SoS amount 7-8 teams so that puts them around 17th pick I believe. A loss could get us closer to 12th. Not that it matters really, with Angelo picking.

Bell did fumble twice. It didn't happen to hurt the Bears either time, but those fumbles equal how many times Forte fumbled in the first 12 games behind. Allen had over 2,000 yards rushing in his ND career, but I didn't expect him to be carrying the ball in the NFL very much.

I'd have a hard time if I was the Bears handing the backup job back to what will end up being next year a 33 year old journeyman.

I dunno...that seems to be exactly what the backup job is cut out for. 33 year old journeymen, or draft gambles. Unless you think Enderle has a possibility of being a future starting QB in the NFL.

I'd definitely give McCown an invite to camp next year.

Cutler and Forte placed on IR.

I'm sure there's some benefit to this, but damned if I know what it is at this point.

Clears up two roster spots for this game so they can add some depth.

It surely doesn't matter, but that's probably why.

The roster spots.

If the Bears win the Vikings are guaranteed to pick 2nd or 3rd in the draft. With a win, the Vikings likely fall to 6. I hate this.

please lose this one. lets hit rock bottom for a better pick!

Is that really a benefit with the likes of Angelo as the GM? What college player with a history of injuries will he tap in the first round in the 2012 draft?

Tillman, Urlacher, Briggs, Forte and Graham (ST) all made the Pro Bowl. Peppers and Hester are alternates. Good for Peanut, it's his first Pro Bowl.

Who is the kick returner ahead of Hester?

Patrick Peterson from Arizona. 4 TD's and 636 return yards, all on punt returns.

Hester had 2 punt return TD's and 450 yards, and 1 kickoff return TD with 701 yards.

“I feel like I made plays when the opportunity came," Williams, 30, said Wednesday at Halas Hall. "Of course, everybody is going to bring up the negative, which is fine. But for the most part I think I made enough plays. I would be happy to re-sign, but if not, you know I will continue on elsewhere.”

Lol. Longest catch of the season was 25 yards. One touchdown. Numerous drops.

Roy Williams ladies and gentlemen.
