I still think that Chris Williams loss was way way underrated as something that derailed the bears season. Cutler was good despite getting constantly pressured but Hanie wasn't going to succeed with this line.

Carimi, too. He was starting to show some promise at the beginning of the season, but when he went down, it was the first domino to fall for the OL.

Bleh, and I was having fun watching this team, too. Hanie's been bad, but his surrounding cast sure as hell hasn't helped him.

I'm hoping for draft position now. That's pretty much it. If any young player can prove he holds promise for the future, I'd be interested in finding that out.

Beyond that, this season has cratered. Total tankage.

On to the Blackhawks and Bulls.

The thing that really sucks is we have to continue to play games. There is no point to playing more games.

Sure there is, we could suffer more catastrophic and potentially career or life altering injuries!

I really hope today spelled the end of the Johnny Knox era. I mean if he doesn't trip over his own two feet, We are in the playoffs. Just a very stupid football player.

That's just idiotic. He slipped on the crappy Soldier Field turf. Blame the park district if you're going to be ridiculous about it.

Not that I'm excusing some of Knox's dumb plays, but to blame him for the way the season turned out is just way off base.

Knox trips in domes, he trips on natural grass and he just plain sucks as a #2 WR as does Hester.

Hes a situational receiver in my mind as a #3 or #4.

I would IR Cutler tomorrow and start Enderle the last two games. The worst thing that could happen would be some meaningless wins At 7-9 we could be in good draft position for a top WR or left tackle.

I don't think you start Enderle vs. GB. They blitz a lot and nothing good can come out of him starting that game. I'd start McCown and save Enderle for the finale.

Not that it matters, but yeah. Another in the line of soul crushing injuries for the 2011 Bears. What a brick-wall splat of a year this was. Yikes.

I just hope the Bears resist the temptation to rush Jay Cutler back on the field, in what is considered a lost season.

I think you have to throw Hanie out there to take the punishment for how horrible he has been this month. He's been absolute garbage. I can't believe they aren't going to get past 7 wins. My bets are ruined.

I'd like to see Enderle play against Minny...just to get him some game time. But against GB, play Hanie. GB is gonna be ticked about losing to KC, so I'm picturing that game as a horror show. No need to get Enderle killed.

That Knox injury is one of the worst I've ever seen on a football field. They might be saying he'll be okay, but that just means he may walk and sign autographs someday. But, he won't set foot on a football field with a uniform on ever again.

I'm looking forward to the game next week. The defense should be able to take some aggression out on Rodgers now that their line is beaten up pretty badly.

.

actually, they said the injury wasnt career threatening, but you have to wonder if he'll ever run a 4.3 40yr again.
