Offer him a 5 year deal with a player option for the 6th and a team option for the 7th. I think he's a better bet to best Pujols OPS during the next five years.

 

That said, I think he's going to the AL to become a DH like his pappy that he doesn't speak to. I really like him and wish he'd sign with the Cubs though.
