Just throwing this out there, but it's been said often that he may not have gotten in all this time because many of his peers thought he was a hot dog or showboat. Perhaps it was their punishment to him to not vote him in while alive.

 

Or maybe the rules just changed and made it more favorable. Who cares. I didn't know how I would feel about it, but I'm very happy.

Great news. And nobody should say this is a pity vote. It's BS it took this look. Every Saber Metric argument out there pretty much proves he was a no brainer HOF player.
