Serious question, your sanctions are over next year right? With regard to P12 Championship and bowls?

P12 championship/bowls yes.

The scholarship reductions are actually only kicking in starting with this class so definitely not out of the woods on that.

I know Nick Perry is gone. Are Kalil and McDonald coming back too?

gee i would hate to see this very good boise st team play another good team instead of a .500 team with a lame duck head coach.

Boise/Michigan or even Baylor/Michigan (or heck, Boise/Baylor) would've been a great Sugar Bowl.

No one is getting excited for Michigan/Va Tech. I doubt even Michigan fans are that excited.

I don't really have a problem with that game - both teams are pretty good and it should be close. I do have a problem with a very good Boise st team facing crappy Arizona st. The spread on the game was 4 touchdowns and the result was the joke that everyone expected. As a college football fan I'd much rather see Boise play someone good, even if it's not a BCS game then someone like oklahoma or Georgia or south carolina. Even michigan st or Nebraska.

I don't think there would be much excitement about any form of a Baylor/Boise St/Michigan match up either.

I'd be interested because it would be two dynamic offenses going against each other. It's always a fun game for me when you know both teams are likely to get into the 30's in points.

Yeah, any game where the O/U is over 65 is likely to be at least somewhat entertaining.

I think bowl games would be more interesting if there weren't tie ins. In my fantasy world where bowls exist but we can't have a playoff we line up all bowl eligible teams and either they'd rank the bowls and they would go down the line and pick teams or they'd just line them up and play 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6 etc. It would be more fun that way. But there are a lot of things (a playoff is the most obvious thing) that could be instituted in college football that would be more fun that will never be instituted.

Purdue just won a crazy-ass game against WMU. Lots of turnovers and about a thousand yards rushing.

2 onside kick recoveries for Purdue, kickoff return for Purdue.

Jordan White 225+ yards receiving. Trick plays. Good stuff.

White was close to 300. Purdue had two turnovers recovered by linemen who proceeded to run downfield and have the ball stripped and recovered back by WMU. Plus Purdue wasn't even running the clock down in the 4th, they were snapping with like 10 seconds left. Some bad coaching... We only won due to superior athletes.

Lots of buzz that Michigan might be announcing tomorrow that they are stopping the yearly game with Notre Dame. Hallelujah if true.

If they'd rather not play us then more power to them. Swarbrick will hopefully take a break from announcing games with the Rices, Akrons and Temples of the world to fill that hole with a decent game.

I'm trying to figure out if I care about this. So I guess I don't.

It was cute when he pretended he was going to go to Indiana.

What a weird recruitment. He commits to IU so UM, Bama, etc won't offer when he opens back up bc they don't want to lose their QBs (each of whom were much less heralded). ND has been lukewarm on him, then he re-opened and ND pursued him pretty strongly a month or two ago, but offered a QB shot to Fuller (a QB only in the D Rob as a freshman sense) weeks before Kiel announced.

I'd love to have him commit to ND, but that's just an unusual set of circumstances. Guess I hope we land Fuller and he can learn to be a QB before he has to play.

I went to Oxford this year, had an incredible time. If you plan on tailgating, be aware that it's not the typical tailgating. No cars/trucks/trailers, it's nothing but open grass. Get yourself a tent/canopy thing and go claim your spot the night before. (9 PM I think?) People dress nice for them as well, khakis and a polo should do it. OMC can probably help a lot more than I could.
