I wonder if Okla St could even be within reach of getting a 'no-rematch' vote if they beat Oklahoma at this point.

lol the end of FSU/Virginia was insane

11 seconds left, FSU down 1 looking at a 47 yard FG for the win, instead they run a play towards the sidelines, and the officials ruled that it was a completion and the guy did not go out of bounds, so the time ran out and Virginia "won". But they reviewed the catch and it was definitely incomplete, so they reset the clock to 8 seconds left. Then when trying the FG, their O-line jumped and flags were thrown. They were looking at a 10 second runoff because of it which would end the game, but the officials threw the flag on the defense for barking out signals trying to make the offense jump. So a 47 yard FG became a 42 yard FG. Well you can guess what happened next, FSU's kicker missed the FG to end the game.

I like how this was bizarrely similar to the end of the USC-Oregon game.

Also

Rooting for USC and Baylor in order to create the stupidest 1-2-3 of the BCS era.

Come on, Baylor, don't screw this up.

If Arkansas beat LSU, would they have any shot at the SEC title game? Also would they have a shot at jumping Alabama?

Arkansas would have to jump Bama to make it. The SEC 3-way tiebreaker eliminates the lowest-ranked BCS team and is head to head between the highest 2. It's actually much more possible - even likely - now that Oregon and possibly Oklahoma are getting out of their way.

They should make a run at Petrino. He's a scumbag and a pos, but

A hell of a coach..

"They?" Also, as weird as it is to say about him, Petrino is going nowhere.

Arkansas needs Alabama to either lose have the lowest BCS ranking of the SEC West trio to go to the title game if they win.

I don't think they would jump Alabama. LSU and Alabama will be 1 and 2, if LSU loses you would think Alabama would be number one and LSU isn't going to drop far enough for Arkansas to jump them either I wouldn't think. What I wouldn't be surprised to see in that scenario is all three SEC schools 1,2 and three. I would imagine it would be 1.Alabama, 2. LSU and 3 Arkansas.

It'd be weird if 1-loss Arkansas beat 1-loss LSU and didn't jump them. Understandable perhaps because of LSU's schedule, but very weird.

Stoops appears to be going for 2 in Waco, down by 1 after a TD.

It doesnt matter (for the SEC title game) if Arkansas jumps LSU because they would still lose due to losing the H2H game with Bama earlier this year.

Yeah, I forgot to note that. Arkansas would only need to jump Bama, not LSU.

The question would become whether 1-loss Arkansas's victory over 1-loss LSU would be good enough to override their loss to 1-loss Bama in that situation for the voters. Talk about a conundrum.

I know, I was just saying that I don't think they would jump LSU even if they beat them and if the don't jump LSU I don't see how they'd jump Alabama who would probably not drop after beating Auburn.

I just don't see how Arkansas could possibly beat the undisputed #1 team in the country and not move up in the polls at all.

There is no right answer, it seems like.

Robert Griffin III should be right with all the other top names in the Heisman discussion. Not his fault his D is awful. Dude just went for almost 500 yards, 4 TD and 0 INT against Oklahoma and led the GW TD drive in 50 seconds.
