Man the Chargers are awful this year. Vincent Jackson just stood there and watched as the DB went up and intercepted it. He looked like he didnt see the ball but come on.

heh. yeah, chargers suck.

what is probably most frustrating if you are a chargers fan, is seeing years come off Rivers' prime, with no results.

You threw a 50 yard jump ball into double coverage with 3:30 in the game and it's your WR's fault?

And yeah, Jackson's kind of a dog.

Clearly I said nothing of the sort. He does deserve some blame though. Jump balls have a 0% success rate when your WR doesn't actually jump

I was worried about the Chargers losing and coming into Soldier Field playing with desperation, but I don't even know if that's even gonna matter. They just suck.

Hadn't even seen your post when I originally posted. Was reacting to Rivers's histrionics.

Everyone who thinks the Chargers are super talented has not watched them much this year.

I haven't understood the "chargers are super talented" theory for years now. When they had Merriman and Tomlinson at their peaks, they were super talented, but that was a while ago. They've been playing in one of the two worst divisions in the league for a decade, which has helped prop up their record, not to mention stats.

First place Raiders!

Should be up by a game and a half (not blown the Denver game) but oh well, I'll take first place any way I can get it.

Eli Manning > Phillip Rivers?

Now absolutely. Historically it's Rivers. Perhaps not having big brother playing has helped Eli, I dunno, but he's having a tremendous year with very little supporting cast.

Yeah, you're right that Rivers has been the better quarterback historically but it's looking good for Eli going forward.

i kinda want to know why rivers wasn't all yelling at rodgers when rodgers was doing his usual celebratory a-hole schtick last weekend. he's like 20 times the dick that cutler is.

i don't think anyone will disagree that the belt-smile-and-wink was a gracious and sportsmanlike gesture.

i'd rather watch drew stanton do the dougie.
