So does nine wins take the AFC West? Remaining schedules:

Oak (5-4): @Min, vs. Chi, @Mia, @GB, vs. Det, @KC, vs. SD

KC (4-4): vs. Den, @NE, vs. Pit, @Chi, @NYJ, vs. GB, vs. Oak, @Den

SD (4-5): @Chi, vs. Den, @Jax, vs. Buf, vs. Balt, @Det, @Oak

I can't see KC getting close. NE, Pit, NYJ, GB seem like surefire losses with @Chi being likely, so that's eight or nine. Then it comes down to Oakland or San Diego. Best case for the Raiders is a split against the NFC North (which I would be extremely happy with). 1-3 in that stretch would mean they'd have to sweep the other three games to get to nine. San Diego... who knows. They'd have to go 5-2 down the stretch, which is possible, though with the way they're playing, it won't be easy.

I could even see eight wins taking the division with a tiebreaker (Oakland struggles vs. the NFC North, SD loses to Chicago, Detroit and Baltimore). I'm just hoping the Raiders don't miss the playoffs because they couldn't close out the Broncos at home and couldn't get a second half stop against Buffalo.

Because Tebow is a terrible quarterback and I hate him. Also, I don't think the Broncos have a chance. The only reason I included the Chiefs was because they were tied for first before yesterday. Here's Denver's remaining:

@KC, vs. NYJ, @SD, @Min, vs. Chi, vs. NE, @Buf, vs. KC

I guess they could go 5-3 to go 8-8 but I can't see them going 6-2. 4-4 or worse is more likely and I think one of the Chargers or Raiders will get to eight wins.

I can't wait for the winner of this division to be a 7-10 point underdog at home to Baltimore or Pittsburgh on wildcard weekend.

I gotta be honest, the schedule sets up well for San Diego, although they have to make up a game on Oakland. There is no way Kansas City does anything with that NE/PIT/CHI/NYJ/GB gauntlet they have coming up. When the Bears on the road are the easiest opponent over a 5 game stretch, that's just tough.

Yeah, I agree with that. I get the feeling it's going to come down to the last game of the year with San Diego at Oakland. For it not to, San Diego would have to play three games better than the Raiders over the next six (i.e., if the Raiders go 3-3, SD would have to go 6-0 to clinch the division before Week 17) because if the Raiders win that game, they'd hold the tiebreaker due to a series sweep. More realistic is they're tied or within a game of each other going into the last week unless one of them completely tanks.

Also, just noticed that all four teams have a negative point differential.

Pretty safe to say there won't be any wild cards coming from that division.

Ok, who is that? Because it looks far too much like my father in 1989 for me not to ask.

Heads up fantasy owners, Desean Jackson is inactive today. Overslept and missed team meeting

Time for a "Dream" team reference?

Broncos called 14 rushes and no passes in entire first quarter.

Tebow is 0-4 for the game.

Maybe his next sports drink commercial should thank his own coaching staff for doubting him.

Maybe he should talk about how he's 3-1 as a starter.

Philadelphia should probably start looking for a new long term QB. Vick [expletive] sucks and I don't think the Eagles are going anywhere long term with him.
