i started the last thread and the game was good so i am starting it again.

the line will probably be even. both teams coming off a nice win, though beating the saints is obviously more impressive than beating the stupid vikings.

i think blount is probably not going to play, but earnest graham isn't terrible.

the bears aren't in any position to lose. let's hope they don't.

If you guys think Soldier Field's turf sucks, wait til everyone looks like they're on ice Sunday.

Wembley's field blows.

Advantage Bears.

My Dad will be at this game, he's nuts.

Bears win this one as the defenses will be sluggish. I will take the more veteran team in an odd travel week.

Bears 31

Bucs 20

Interesting fact of the week: The Bears are 0-8 in the last 8 games they've scored under 30 points. So this week, they continue the trend with a W and scoring over 30.

That's ok the Bears have done it before:

Bucs are flying to London today. They played in this game 2 years ago and flew in on Friday and supposedly were shocked at how off they felt not having adjusted to the time there. Have no idea if that's an excuse by them or not, but they've adjusted their schedule accordingly.

The Bears plan to fly in on Thursday. Here's hoping it works out for them.

Shocked at how off they felt before the game, or shocked at how they got the crap beat out of them and then decided to make excuses later?

I don't know. But I can tell you my last trip across the Atlantic took me 1 day to adjust. I really think any more than that means you're doing something wrong.

This is the 1st game of the most important stretch of the season for the Bears.

Tampa in London

@ Eagles

Home vs. Detroit

Home vs. San Diego

@ Raiders

Teams are a combined 19-10. If the Bears are going to continue to put up big points against bad teams, that would leave the assumption that they should beat KC, Denver, Seattle, and Minnesota late in the year. That's only 7 wins. That means to make the playoffs, the Bears probably have to take 3 of these games. With Tampa still a factor in the NFC South and the Saints already having a win over the Bears....this is probably the key one to get for potential tiebreaking purposes.

Tampa is kind of like the Bears were last year. They took an ugly blowout loss (SF vs Bears to NE), squeaked out a couple games vs. a couple of really bad teams (Min/Ind vs. Bears to Detroit), and got up for a couple of huge division battles (NO/Atl vs Bears to GB). The Bucs aren't particularly good at anything. Middle of the pack running and passing the ball. Haven't really stopped the run or pass or rushed the passer consistently. Classic game of which teams show up.

I know GB is amazing, but let's not chalk that up as a sure loss. Chances are they'll have HFA locked up by Week 16.

Oddly enough, I'm more confident in the road games on that stretch than the home games. I really wanna beat Detroit at home though.

Don't overlook this Bucs team like I did last week unfortunately. Although hopefully your Bears won't help them out by coughing up 4 turnovers.

I don't put too much stock in that game. Tampa always manages a split with New Orleans, even when they are 3-13.

Indeed. Saints were 5-5 in the Payton era against the Bucs going into last weeks game, so I suppose we'll end the season 6-6 against them.

maybe this belongs here, espn reporting that teams have contacted the bears about forte. i would do it for an NFL player and two #1's.

I wouldn't
