It doesn't seem to me that the Rangers even attempted to bring him back. Perhaps they question how long he can hold up after that huge boost in innings the last two years.

 

LAA may have painted themelves into a corner, but they are the biggest market team in their division, have very deep pockets and should be able to maneuver around their guarantees.

As far as anyone mentioining Soler, I want him bigtime, but he,s 19, so don't expect him to come in and help the major league team for a few seasons. Plus, it's starting to look like he's going to be getting over 20 mill. Which is fine, but to give a minor league guy THIS much money, you better damn well be convinced he's going to be a superstar.
