cutler is in aaron-rodgers-if-rodgers-could-throw-off-his-back-foot mode tonight.

Its cute that you cling to this fantasy that Cutler is in the same universe as Rodgers (the most talented QB in the history of the league)

If Cutler had GB's o-line, he'd be a top-3 QB. I'm not comparing him to Rodgers, because Rodgers is the best I've ever seen, but he'd be incredible.

Seriously? Better than Brady, Brees and a health Peyton Manning? No way.

Manning's career is over.

They'll take care of Forte. I have no doubts. We don't need to bring it up every time he makes a run or a catch.

I think we should keep bringing it up, as Angelo is costing the Bears more money each game by not locking him up in August.

Also, give the Bears the OL of NE or NO and Cutler's putting up ridiculous stats. Easy.

Did you just see that?

I love Rodgers and think he's the best QB in the league right now, but you have to admit he doesn't have to deal with that kind of pressure, play after play, down after down, week after week.

At the very least I'd like to see how good Cutler would be with good receivers and a decent line. I'm not saying he'd be as good as Rodgers, but I do think he'd develop into one of the best in the league eventually.

Surely you must acknowledge the ungodly pressure he's under. Nobody else is dealing with that on an ongoing basis. It's really not even fair to him.

I know Merriweather thought the play wasn't dead after the pick but that was incredibly dumb and pointless.

Rodgers had the worst line in the league in 2009 and still put up gaudy numbers. I think that was his most impressive year as a pro by doing what he did with a makeshift offensive line.

I don't even think the call was on him. But either way, if you are ever going to take a cheap shot on a player (which I don't like or condone) that is the time to do it, after you take away possession and have a kneel down to go before halftime.

Meriweather is an idiot. He needs to stop that crap, especially in situations like that.

I know the penalty wasn't called on him, but it should have been. He leads with his head every single time.

He still had some of the league's best receivers.

Look, I'm not going to be drawn into some kind of Cutler vs. Rodgers argument. Aaron is better. Period.

But any discussion of Jay Cutler must include the ridiculous and outlandish pressure he's been under since the time he's joined the Bears. Anyone who doesn't frame his/her argument in those terms is to be summarily dismissed. Period.

That Packers O line is no great shakes, but they're certainly better than the Bears. They're also helped by not having an insane person calling plays and having without question the deepest receiving corps in the league.

Maybe this was answered earlier, but where is Knox tonight?

And Roy Williams.

The only receivers that have had passes intended are (I think) Sanzenbacher, Hester and Herd.

There's gotta be something up, because Herd got on the field early in the first possession for the Bears.

But Williams has at least been on the field. I haven't seen Knox.

Ask Rotoworld what's up with Roy Williams.

"He sucks so much and should die. Don't start him ever in any fantasy league."

They've all been out there. Williams was out there on the TD. Knox has been out there a lot too, but seemingly mostly on run plays.

I really wish the Bears would take a shot deep with Knox when Suh is not in there. Leave a TE and/or RB in there and take a shot. No Suh should buy some extra time.
