Offense has put up this through 5 games:

Atlanta: 23 points

New Orleans: 13 points

Green Bay: 17 points

Carolina: 20 points

Detroit: 10 points (so far)

That's 16.6 points of offense per game and that's not including multiple point scoring drives that started deep in opponent's territory due to special teams or defense.

Defensive yards given up per game

Atlanta: 386 yards

New Orleans: 382 yards

Green Bay: 392 yards

Carolina: 543 yards

Detroit: 294 yards (after 3rd)

I remember back in the day getting upset if we allowed 300 yards on defense. Now that would be a spectacular game relatively speaking.

i was a terrible, terrible, terrible, offensive lineman in high school, and im still shocked at how little guys like Omiyale block someone. touching him in the pads isnt blocking.

I'm more surprised at how they can't manage to get off a snap in unison.

Apparently, the Giants committed 11 false starts in a game in 2005, so we've got work to do if we want to break some records tonight.

Why can't omiyale just [expletive] retire

Hester with another drop. It was not an easy catch but legit receivers catch those from time to time. Not receivers who have been annointed the number 1 receiver with one year of WR experience in his lifetime.

Getting close.

Martz needs to make some aggressive playcalls and try for the end zone. There's not enough time left to be going down the field this slow.

I actually don't know if 11 is the record, its just the most I could find with a Google search.

That would require being able to pass block for more than 1 second.
