because it's irrelevant how good your stuff is if guys know what's coming.

 

not against the guys he's playing against. this was a dude touted to be just about MLB ready stuff and repertoire wise.

For the first time in a long time, I agree with Kyle here. Maybe not being dominant, but this guy should be able to get most High A ball guys out with his stuff, even if they do know what's coming. The hitters are not that refined at that level.

It's perfectly ordinary for elite college pitchers to get smacked around in A-ball just because the hitters knew a fastball was coming. :roll:

 

If it were that easy to hit elite pitchers because you guessed what was coming, elite pitchers would get hit a lot more than they do.

they're not guessing if he's tipping his pitches.

I get that. But if they can smack him around 100% of the time with tipping, then they should be able to smack him around most of the time with guessing, right?
