Yeah twitter/BP chat is like 15 minutes ahead of tv with the trades.

 

Sounds like most think Mirotic is a stud but he might not get here for 3-4 years. Some saying he could be the best player in the draft and lots saying he would be a lottery pick if not for the buyout.

 

If they can get him and then Jenkins at 30 that's a nice draft if they were only keeping one rookie anyways.

The NBA is dumb about trades and they can't be officially completed until after the draft is over. Houston traded Brad Miller and 23 for Motiejunas and Jonny Flynn, and the Wolves then traded 23 to us for 28, 43 and money.

Got it. Works for me. Nothing wrong with this deal at all. Don't know much about the pick, but if he has as much potential as people think and the Bulls were going to stash a Euro anyway, can't get much better than this. Giving up 43 is of no consequence.

I LOVE the Mirotic pick. He's a stretch 4, which I've been wanting for this team for awhile. He would fit great with Derrick and Noah. 1.09 PPP in the Euro league at 19/20 years old. He shot over 40% from 3 in Euro and ACB leagues combined. With how late we're picking, this is about all I was hoping for.

I'm trying to decide whether to like this deal. I like Hill, but I liked Leonard and the Pacers lost both their 2nd round pick and the rights to Lorbek. Lorbek will be annoying because he'll probably come over now that he's on the Spurs even though he wouldn't come over to Indiana all these years. I'm just trying to figure out where Hill fits. Is he just the backup point guard/shooting guard? Are they going to push Collison or George to the bench?
