Back to .500. Officially my first ever win as thread starter. I'm feeling a winning streak coming.

The Cubs visit the Mile High City for a 3 game set against the Rockies who are off to a very good start this year.

The Cubs send this handsome devil to the mound:

who I forgot was the

He's off to a so-so start this year at 0-1 with a 5.68era and 1.82whip. He has struck out 20 over 12 and 2/3's though.

The Rockies counter with Jhoulys Chacin who seems to be building off the success of last year which was his first full year in the bigs.

He's 2-0 with a 2.77era and 1.23WHIP

Hawks start at 9. Let's Go Cubs

ps. Hoping that my Mila Kunis picture from yesterday had anything at all to do with the Cubs win, here's another one!

This is one of those games that the Cubs absolutely have to be patient. The Rockies had 3 1/3 innings of relief yesterday and have a doubleheader today. Being patient tomorrow night even if it slightly decreases the chance of winning tomorrow night's game gives them a better chance of winning the series.

I just found out I'm going to see James Russell on Monday Vs. the Padres.

You'll be happy to hear that it's Zambrano on Monday. The starter for Tuesday hasn't been named yet.

This will likely be met with seething rage, but I'd actually prefer to see what Samardzjia can do for 4-5 innings than another Russell start. Granted, I'd prefer another option all together, but at least a Shark start could be interesting. Russells past, present, and future is middle relief. No reason to tamper with that.

Who is starting tomorrow, Dempster or Coleman?

Cubs.com says the series is going Garza, Coleman, Dempster.

Mets came up one run short of sending game 1 to extras, falling 6-5 after scoring 1 in the 8th and 2 in the 9th.

WCIU? Ugh.

You don't enjoy watching Matt Garza give up 12 runs on the fuzzy channel?

He can't watch them at all tonight as is the case for many on the board. It's especially annoying to have a WCIU game after an off day.

I'd rather have games on WCIU than CSN+.

Yep. CSN+ is non-HD and an absolute formatting nightmare.

Heh, I get CSN+ in HD but not WCIU, so I feel the exact opposite.

Do you get where the screen is so effed up that you can't see the score/ticker/logo no matter what format you choose? Fury

My CSN+ on Directv in the Chicago market is perfectly formatted as CSN/WGN/WCIU.
