The Pacers played out their collective asses again but, did anyone think every touch foul was called on the Bulls the last five minutes? Whereas the Pacers got away with some mugging hell, everytime they double teamed Rose they fouled him four, five times.

Ask Andy to review it in the morning.

I'm not making any judgment until Andy weighs in.

least enjoyable playoff win ever?

Nobody got hurt, so no.

tsk tsk, no regard for your opponent's health

Is Collison seriously hurt?

Rose's ft attempts were cut in half from game 1 so clearly something was up

Why was I expecting Vogel to come out with, "They are who they thought they were! You want to crown them? ..."

My favorite tweet of the night, from just after Korver's shot:

"In their defense, Kyle Korver is white so the Pacers probably thought he was their guy."

The Bulls played like crap offensively, but it's hard to say they didn't deserve to win when they got what, 60 rebounds?

Yeah, the rebounding is the difference in this series. In the season series the Bulls out rebounded the Pacers by 7 3 different times and the Pacers out rebounded the Bulls by 1 in the other game. Looking at the season statistics, a 5-10 rebound advantage by the Bulls should be expected. Instead it's been advantages of 15 and 24 which is just killer.

I don't think this says much about the Bulls going forward though. Lots of 1-8 matchups end up with close games. The Pacers have done it to 1 seeds 3 times in 10 years now. Both of the previous teams escaped the Pacers and went on to reach the NBA Finals. Getting the wins without having too deep in the series and moving on is what counts.

They didn't do quite as well with the three ball but, man, how [expletive] bail-out three's did they hit? At least three were of that type.

Also, Boozer had a quietly solid game tonight, at least offensively.

And a horrendous one from Noah. Do these guys ever play well together?

Only for maybe 3-4 games this year. Although between injuries, I think they played together a total of about 15 games.

I have to like their chances if each pulls down 15 rebounds, though. Noah hasn't been able to click offensively with Boozer around all year. Nice pass to Korver at the end, though (Why was Korver's man leaving to cover Noah on a drive?).

I saw spurts of effort on the defensive side of the ball from Boozer, specifically his team defense. He was giving up some open long range looks to Hansbrough again though. Still, would rather he give up those than letting him drive to the basket.

They let TJ Ford on the floor which has to say something. I think Collison will come back but I can't imagine he'll be at the same effectiveness level.

Kendall Gill cautioning the Bulls not to get too overconfident heading into game 3.

Maybe I'm naive, but I don't see that being a problem.

Well, the Pacers are sure up to the task. Thank God Kyle Korver keeps getting open in the last couple minutes of games.

If you count the Ford halfcourt three there were three of them. The two from A.J. Price I almost expected to go in. He thrives on hitting those type of shots. Too bad he can't make enough of the open ones.

Has Stockton been alive for the last 10 years?

Have you seen Lesley Visser recently?

She divorced him a couple years ago. He's gonna be so pissed when he finds out.

hahaha, that was a good one

That's great and all, but he could've had another 10-15 points if he'd have just been more aggressive in the post. And by aggressive, I mean putting a move on a guy, not running directly into his chest, or using his non-shooting hand to murder someone.

Boozer is so frustrating to me. Just a really dumb basketball player.

Boozer had the Eddy Curry type of game on offense last night. They were able to get him involved early but then he was hardly nowhere to be seen in the second half when the Bulls had the ball. I thought he actually played pretty well (for his standards) on defense yesterday.

It was ugly but I'm not complaining with a playoff win. Don't forget that when we were a lower seed five years ago, we gave the Heat a pretty competitive six game series in the first round and they eventually wound up winning the championship. The name of the game is to survive and advance.

It's nice that this team is good enough to play like [expletive] and still win, but just because you CAN play ugly doesn't mean you have to. Please win by 20 on Thursday kthxbye

Paul George played some sick defense. 3 steals, 4 blocks and a team record 18 deflections. Kidding me? I have zero doubt this guy will be a legitimate DPOTY candidate for a long time. His offensive game is much farther behind but like I've been saying all year, the kid is gonna be an all star one day.

Too bad Collison got hurt. The offense was never the same after he left, though Ford played pretty admirably after sitting for most of the season. Now let's take this to Conseco and guard Korver at the end of the game.

And they can't be the Fighting Vogels without Vogel, so they need to extend him. No to Mike Brown.
