I would like to know what he really said to Collins. Was it a real apology or a "I'm sorry I had to put a kid through that ordeal" kind of an apology. Sort of like when someone says, "I'm sorry you were offended."

 

If it was real, I wish this would get any kind of media attention--more than just a twitter message that only Illinois boards will notice. Instead, the only time a national media member brings it up is to mention he was just "being a whistleblower and doing the right thing."

gottlieb's public begging for the job was just odd/pathetic. he was on a KC station last week basically bragging about how great he would be, how hiring him would bring a buzz to the program, naming guys he'd hire on his staff, etc. what a weird story.

Well, now we're about to add Chris Lowery as an assistant.

On a side note, man Weber did Orris a disservice when he talked about their texts and Orris calling guys out for being selfish. I imagine some of them are looking forward to Orris getting on campus.
