Why do you still watch?

I'm not 100% sure UI could beat my alma mater right now....and they are not Division 1.

I'm not sure mine would beat UI right now, but the fact I have to think about it is pretty shameful.

mine is a d-3 powerhouse

As is mine, beat the #1 team in the country and made it to the Sweet 16 last night. Where'd you go? Illinois Wesleyan here

I'm rooting pretty hard for ISU to get in today, f the bubble since Illinois has no chance.

I have too many friends who went to ISU. I don't want to have to hear about it.

Nice, I grew up in Naperville. I saw that all 3 CCIW teams made it through last night.

Though I'm not sure I'd exactly call NCC a "D-3 Powerhouse". At least not historically.

Nic Moore, playing for Illinois State, played for my high school so I'm pulling for them to make it. He's pretty damn impressive for a 5' 7"ish freshman PG. If he were a little taller he would've gotten a lot more offers.

Raridon has done wonders for that program since coming over from Nebraska Wesleyan (I believe?) though. I wanna say this is their first ever Sweet 16 appearance.

Didn't he finish as runner up for Indiana Mr. Basketball?

i was being facetious. they were terrible when i went there. that may have been because i was so adamant about getting all of the basketball players on drugs, though.

Yeah, but it wasn't close against Zeller. I think he ended up second all-time in scoring for Warsaw which has some good basketball tradition with two previous Mr. Basketball winners (and Rick Fox) and a championship in the pre-class tournament.
