Also, 'the Movement' is a terrible name for an incoming class. I assume you've already seen the t-shirts being made up?

If IU and Purdue's incoming classes are as good as everyone thinks maybe we can get some epic battles over the next few years that would make da Bum proud.

Yes, "the Movement" is pretty terrible. I was hoping they'd change it before making shirts and such (there was actually an IU fan holding up a poster that said "the Movement" in the background on gameday a couple weeks ago at the Oregon-Stanford game). Oh well.

From what I've seen, both classes are very good (not very familiar at all with the out-of-state recruits). I think Hammons is going to end up being a huge steal for Purdue. I was always disappointed that IU never went after him very hard.

I like how Crean is always given credit for "cleaning house" after Sampson when he made the call to boot like 1 guy off the team and the rest were too drug addled or saddled with 0.0 GPAs to return.

ETA: Or ran as far away from Bloomington as fast as possible when they saw what a hole it was. (Crawford, Holman, somebody else?)

Holman threw a potted plant at Crean during a meeting in which, as I recall, Crean was recruiting Holman to stay (or some similar reason). That said, is this something we really need to go through again?

I'd love for IU to never stop going through it.

Ha ha. Of course you would. What a nightmare.

yeah, i'm not satisfied with what has happened to iu since sampson, i want to see the program burn and i want to see tears of blood scorch the earth with their sorrow.

Twenty-eight wins and eight conference wins over three seasons is pretty damn close to burning.

I think it would have been difficult for any IU fan watching the last three years not to have those.

I do every time Daniel Moore takes the court.

Actually, Daniel Moore hasn't played too poorly this year. Elston also appears to be the best shooter in the Big Ten and Tom Pritchard will be Defensive POY based on 5 games so far, so I'm expecting my tears of blood to come heavily streaming back in the near future.

For the love of God, man.

IU Football last 4 seasons (including this season):

3 - 28 in conference (though one of those wins is against Purdue, and one against Illinois, lol)

4 last place finishes

.097 winning percentage

IU Basketball last 3 seasons (no conference play yet this year):

8 - 46 in conference

2 last place finishes and a next to last

.148 winning percentage

That's a combined major sport conference record of 11-74 for a whopping .129 winning percentage.

meyers with 22-12-5 last night. i hope he continues to do this.

And I hope he REALLY likes the CU area.

7 rooters with 40 inch verticals don't stay in school 3 years, unless the NBA is still locked out he's gone, IMO.

Iowa just got beat by 16 by the Campbell Fighting Camels. My hopes of finishing somewhere near the middle of the Big Ten are gone now. I wish I had better basketball to watch in which I had a rooting interest. Edited by bcl412

I want to punch this announcer in the junk for his tres puntos and y uno crap in the Illinois game. So annoying.

Also, we don't look very good defensively right now. And a good defensive team won't let us get any shots off. I'm not expecting much out of the season at this point.

I can't get the Illinois game where I'm at, how does Nic Moore for Illinois St. look against a B1G team? He's from my hometown...

Can't be doing much at this point with 0 points and 2 fouls at the half. I'll watch more closely in the 2nd.

Yeah he must've got two quick ones, he only played 4 minutes. I just got gametracker to load on a very shaky internet connection out in the sticks...
