There are multiple posts on the Purdue Rivals board about Jay Simpson and twitter. It seems like every other day he tweets about hating his new prep school and says he's quitting and moving back. Yet he's still there weeks later... I wouldn't put much stock in what these kids say on twitter...

For those who don't know, the 25 Ws represents that Wichita has 25 games where they have a better than 50% chance of winning, but obviously if you have a 51% chance of winning each game, that's not going to equal an undefeated season, so the final record is the individual %s combined to equal an estimate on their total wins.

A good chunk of the metric is based on returning scoring, which goes a long way in explaining why Illinois is so low. However if we finish below Nebraska, Weber needs to be chased out of town with torches and pitch forks.

Whoever is calling this Purdue exhibition game makes the Ball State 'boom goes the dynamite' guy look calm and collected. It's unbelievable. They're calling players by numbers instead of names, tripping over their words, and the girl sounds like she has a speech impediment.

What is Keady's role right now? Who is the interim?

 

 

Lavin hired Keady as a special assistant and adviser last year. What that means, essentially, is that Keady could advise the St. John’s coaches at staff meetings and help plan practices but that he was not allowed to coach on the floor. I'm not positive if that's the case again this year or not, I'd assume so.

 

Assistant coach Mike Dunlap is taking the reigns right now I think. I'm not actually a St John's fan, just CBB (& the Illini) in general.
