hello ladies

i haven't worked at wal mart in 7 whole months

You too? High five, buddy! Yeah! :yahoo:

It's ok. You'll get female attention one day. And maybe you won't even have to pay for it!

The good thing about this matchup is GB can't win a close game here. They might beat the Bears by 10, but I kind of doubt it. Robbie Gould is going to win this one for the Bears.

4 of the 10 Packer wins were by 7 points or less. 5 of 12 if you count playoffs.

A few things here. First, Favre lied somewhere along the line by saying he's rooting for the Packers on Sunday considering told Peppers after the game at TCF to "go beat the Packers". Which is it Brett? Not that I really give a [expletive].

Second, Kellen Davis saying the Bears are going to win is a non-story, because he didn't "gaurantee" it. Trust me, it makes a difference.

Third, I'm not sure how any Bears fan could root for the Packers in the SB. That's just unfathomable to me.

Fourth, the hate coming out of Seattle continues to amaze me. I really think deep down they thought they were superior to the Bears. How devastating it must have been to find out otherwise.

Fifth, this thread is awesome.

He's saying the Packers can't win a close game here, meaning in Chicago. Of the 4 wins by 7 points or less, 3 were at home and the 4 games they won were vs. Detroit by 2, vs. Minnesota by 4, vs. nothing to play for Chicago by 7 and @ Philly by 7. The only one that is even a bit impressive of a 'close win' was Philly, and that was a game the Packers led by a lot and the Eagles made it close late.

Favre is going public cheering for the Packers because now that he's retired he realizes he needs to be in good graces with the team he's synonamous with. He's trying to get his number retired and have the fans back on his jock strap. Packers fans being the gullible idiots they are will latch back on and embrace Favre for life once he starts saying the right things about GB again.

Holy generalizations, Batman!

Brett will never be fully embraced again, at least by me. I'm just sorry I didn't see him for what he truly was during the time he was here.

Brett Favre love in Green Bay = dead

Agreed. That rousing jeer he got when he took the field in Green Bay this year coupled with the fact that Rodgers is every bit as good as Favre was in his prime has made people forget about him in a hurry.

Yeah, they'll retire his number in like ten years. Everyone will pretend to make nice, but in the end only the Favretards will fully embrace him.

The one additional cool thing about this game, is that it seems to me that both fanbases are extremely confident in their team's chances on Sunday. I don't think Packers fans are all that fearful of playing the Bears, and I don't think Bears fans are all that scared of playing the Packers. It's not like where one team is clearly a better all around football game, and the other side is praying for a miracle to win. If I goto this game, I'm gonna find a safe spot so that I can survive if things get out of hand between the winning and losing fan bases. There is likely to be a lot of energy and emotion coming from both fanbases.

Although I'm a Bears fan and it slightly hurts us, another cool thing is that the Bears home field advantage will be somewhat negated. I'm gonna guess maybe 70-30 or 75-25 depending on how many Bears fans cave and sell their season tickets. I know a buddy of mine whose dad has seats in the United Club and told me that if he sold his 4 tickets for Sunday, it would pay for 3/4ths of the season. And these have a $300 face value in the regular season.

Isn't selling tickets for more than face value illegal?

It varies by state. Not sure what IL laws are.

Everyone does it though.
