I couldnt get anything on the automated, so I went to a rep...and it took literally 10 minutes to connect to a rep. When she got on, I assumed all were sold out, so I dejectedly asked her if any were left...she searched for 2 minutes and said no sorry...and just as i was about to hang up on her, she said Wait I just saw one pop up. In section 444 for $150, do you want it? I said hell yeah. So she ran through the purchase, and I kept waiting for the call to drop due to AT&T or for her to screw it up and lose the ticket. But it didnt happen. I got it.

Would a cool $160 change your mind about going???

Nah, because the only shipping option was UPS so that was an additional $16. Maybe $175 and I'll have to consider it.

I'll definitely buy it for $175!

That ticket is going for approximately 450 on stubhub. You just made a cool 275!

Haha, I wish I was smart enough to sell it. I'm not though...I'm the guy that spent $300 on a SRO ticket to game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

If I were you, I definitely wouldn't sell it. What are you going to do with $275 that will significantly affect your life? A Bears/Packers NFC Championship game comes once per many generations. You can't put a price on life experiences like that.

Here's a plus for the Bears:

Terry McAulay will officiate the NFC Championship game. Coincidentally, this was the same guy who presided over the 18-penalty affair earlier in the season against the Bears.

Has he done any other Packers games? If you take out that 18 penalty atrocity, the Packers averaged about 4 penalties a game this season.

Great... now I'm worried he's going to be more lenient.

It beats Hochuli, but that's still a joke.

You do realize the Packers actually committed those penalties? They would have gotten their butts pounded if they didn't commit all those penalties keeping the Bears off them.

Lots of people seem to be forgetting that those penalties weren't gifts. They were the result of a poorly coached team that was having a lot of trouble handling the Bears that night.

If Des Clark doesn't drop that pass, does that game get talked about differently?

Bad luck.

I don't think we'll lose because of it, but if we do some moron is going to bring it up and it's going to annoy me.

Good job by the NFL and Fox to realize what would have happened if they stuck with their original plan. It wouldn't have been good for anyone.
