Jeez, what an egomaniac.

what a cynical douche

Sir, if I knew where you lived I would challenge you to fisticuffs. Surely it is somewhere mundane and easily accessible within these United States.

Damn you, foe, why do you deny me?

I don't wish to deny anyone. However, I, like others, probably would prefer to read about the Packers and Bears in this thread over where, when, how Truffle lives, breathes, eats, etc....

It's a great time to be an Eagl.......errr, Bears Fan!

good good good, let them look past us.

Yeah because a guy on IR tweeting something means the whole team is looking past an opponent. Right.

it doesn't look good, though.

I'm not defending it at all. It's stupid but the 53 active players won't be overlooking the Bears. Like the Philly and ATL games, we may lose this game but it's not going to be because of the media picking us to win or a tweet from a guy who played one half of football the entire season.

It was definitely implied.

the only implication was that if the gb players are looking past the bears (as suggested by the tweet of a gb player and not my imagination), that it could benefit the bears in this game

Oh, hooray. The NFL is monitoring the field condition at Soldier Field and will have the final say in what is done with it. Glad they have recognized what a problem the atrocious playing surface poses. Sorry to post the JS again, but it just popped up.

Sweet, hopefully they recognize the field is unplayable and move the game to Lambeau.

The one additional cool thing about this game, is that it seems to me that both fanbases are extremely confident in their team's chances on Sunday. I don't think Packers fans are all that fearful of playing the Bears, and I don't think Bears fans are all that scared of playing the Packers. It's not like where one team is clearly a better all around football game, and the other side is praying for a miracle to win. If I goto this game, I'm gonna find a safe spot so that I can survive if things get out of hand between the winning and losing fan bases. There is likely to be a lot of energy and emotion coming from both fanbases.

Although I'm a Bears fan and it slightly hurts us, another cool thing is that the Bears home field advantage will be somewhat negated. I'm gonna guess maybe 70-30 or 75-25 depending on how many Bears fans cave and sell their season tickets. I know a buddy of mine whose dad has seats in the United Club and told me that if he sold his 4 tickets for Sunday, it would pay for 3/4ths of the season. And these have a $300 face value in the regular season.

Nothing will happen. Even if they replace the sod, it won't take by Sunday. They played on a sheet of ice in Minnesota...they'll play on some bad grass in Chicago.

That's just the Green Bay press whining.

sack up, this is the NFC Championship between the Packers and the Bears, it should be played in [expletive] conditions.

It's an indictment on the Green Bay organization and fan base.

"I think Chicago really didn't want us to make the playoffs, whether we were going to see them or not," linebacker Clay Matthews said. "For the simple fact that we're a division rival. Everyone knows you're not well liked in the opposite city."

Oh that's cute. Clay Matthews thinks his team represents an actual city.
