I've seen many reports of Stanford offering close to 100 a year under Harbaugh, who would then use the admissions office to cut off contact with players who have committed but he no longer wanted. And those are guys who should have been cleared. That doesn't count those who couldn't qualify academically. He got away with it since he wasn't at it for a long period of time.

Is this players who have signed a LOI?

It's not bowl-related, but it involves Auburn so there you go.

Kris Frost announced on NBC during the Army All-American game that he was picking Auburn, but they don't have room for him and will not accept his commitment. Oopsies!

AU at one time offered Kris Frost a scholarship. He turned them down saying he would eventually sign with Michigan. Once Rich Rod got the boot, Frost determined he wanted to attend AU. I am 99% sure that Auburn will make room for Frost. They are likely going to rescind the scholly offer from one of the individuals who have an offer but haven't yet committed.

Not for Stanford, no. Those are verbal commitments.

Oh, then I have a hard time getting too upset about it then. The nature of the system cuts both ways.

This is a weird game. You have one team that basically turned itself into a national team based on shoe money and goofy uniforms vs. the oklahoma state of the SEC

what was the reaction here to the hideous OU cheerleader during the fiesta?

Okie St is probably more like Oregon based on the T Boone Picken's money. They just need to change their orange to match a highlighter and they are there.

How did Kesha's brother end up on the OU cheerleading squad?

God, can we get rid of these pointless sideline interviews?

If Erin's going to wear a trenchcoat? Yes, dump the sideline interview.

They can utilize her without making her waste coaches' time.

Gosh, I guess the SEC honk in me has to go for Auburn but this is much harder than usual given how I think Auburn actually got to this point and because Newton is the most obnoxious player in the college game.
